EXISTING CONSTRUCTION

IN-CEILING SPEAKERS

Cut the drywall

Note: Always allow at least one-half inch between a wall stud and the speaker cutout or the locking tabs will not be able to swivel into place.

Connect the speaker wires to the speaker.

Screw down each of the four Phillips head screws. The locking tabs will swivel into place and secure the unit to the rear surface of the drywall. Put in the strips of adhesive to secure the grille.

Replace the metal grille.

Complete.

If your television offers a Bluetooth connection option, I think you’ll be okay. It establishes a unique Bluetooth connection. To link our iPhones to, we use four of them. Because of their excellent quality, I would most definitely purchase them again.

Even though they are listed as maritime type mines, I believe the mines I have in the kitchen are not waterproof.

Since I only have one, may I use one of these speakers in the restroom?****

I feel that the sound quality of these speakers is subpar. You couldn’t buy me to use them because they sound tinny.

Only two speakers can be supported by the poor Bluetooth receiver. The majority of modern phones can cast to two Bluetooth receivers at once, providing four speakers.

Can it be hard wired for an RV application with 12v dc?****

Although it is feasible, it is not advised due to the risk of harm to the device’s Bluetooth controller.

How can you turn up and down the volume on a television?****

The volume should be managed by the TV to which the speakers are connected.

Can these be mounted in a boa and powered by 12 volts?****

Yes, you can and it does need 12v DC power, which is provided by its converter, if you mean aboard a boat.

They don’t really rock a lot of base, but they should be fine for meeting- style stuff. It includes everything you need to get started, including the Bluetooth receiver.

Can a Bluetooth receiver still receive signal if it is mounted in between ceiling joists and covered by 3/4″ wood planks? The reception range?****

It should, indeed. Six to ten inches of spray insulation were used when I installed mine in the porch ceiling and works well.
