Introduction
The single roll dispenser accepts rolls up to 450mm and can be used either floor standing or wall mounted. It automatically applies adhesive tape to the edges of masking paper.

Assembly

  1. If the dispenser is free-standing, attach the rubber feet to the tubular frames.
  2. If wall-mounted, fit the mounting brackets to the rear legs using the provided screws and nuts.
  3. Attach the top handle to the top of the tubular frames.
  4. Connect the tubular frames to the cross tube without fully tightening the screws yet.
  5. Attach the cutting blade to the front legs of the tubular frames with springs.
  6. Secure all screws and nuts.
  7. Insert bolts through the front legs and secure with washers and nuts.
  8. Add wing nuts, washers, hubs, and tape reels onto the bolts.
  9. Fit paper washers, cutting blade spring, and paper holding spring to the paper bar.
  10. Place the paper bar between the tubular frames and secure with knobs.

SAFETY

  • Ensure that all fittings are tight and secure.

ASSEMBLY

NOTE: Numbers in brackets refer to item numbers in fig.3. fig.2 If dispenser is to be free standing fit the four rubber feet to the tubular frames (1).

  1. If dispenser is to be free standing fit the four rubber feet to the tubular frames (1).
  2. If the disnenser is to be bench or wall mounted fit the two mounting brackets (9) to the rear leas of the tubular  frames (1), using M16 screws (15), M6 washers (14) and M6 nuts (13). Fit two of the feet to the front legs of the tubular frames (1).
  3. Attach the top handle (2) to the top of the tubular frames (1) using M8 screws (12) and M8 washers (11).
  4. Attach the two tubular frames (1) to the cross tube (4) using M8 screws (12) and M8 washers (11). DO NOT fully tighten screws at this stage.
  5. Fit cutting blade spring (10) to either end of the cutting blade (3), as shown in fig. 1.
  6. Fit cutting blade (3) to upper holes in front legs of tubular frames (1) using M16 screws (15), M6 washers (14) and M6 nuts (13).
  7. Tighten all screws/nuts.
  8. Insert bolts (18) through front legs of tubular frames (1) and tighten in place using M6 washers (14) and M6 nuts (13).
  9. Thread a wing nut (17) onto each bolt (18) with the wings towards the frame leg.
  10. Slide washer (14) and hub (20) onto each bolt (18) and then fit tape reels (19) onto hubs (20) with open sides towards tubular
  11. frame (1) legs.
  12. Position tape reels (19) with washer (14) and wing nut (17).
  13. Fit paper washers (6), cutting blade spring (10) and paper holding spring (5) to paper bar (8) as shown in fig.2.
  14. Locate paper bar (8) between bars of tubular frames (1) and retain with knob (16).

OPERATION

  1. Remove paper bar (8) from frame and remove washers (6), springs (5) and paper holding washers (6).
  2. Slide paper bar (8) through centre of masking paper roll so that, when reinstalled in frame, paper will come from top of roll towards front of dispenser.
  3. Replace washers (6), springs (5) and paper holding rings as shown in fig.2, at each end of roll.
  4. If two narrow rolls are used fit one spring and washer per roll and use the two extra paper holding rings for the extra roll..
  5. Refit paper bar, complete with paper roll, to frame assembly. Position roll in centre of bar and fix in place by tightening screws in paper holding rings (7).
  6. Thread leading edge of paper between cutting blade spring (10) and guide edge of cutting blade (3), see fig.1.
  7. Press masking tape rolls onto tape reels (19) so that tape leaves bottom of rolls towards the rear of the dispenser. Rolls may be positioned relative to the masking paper edges by adjusting wing nuts.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids according to local regulations.
