Recommendations for the use of electronic wrist devices, Guarantee
Smartwatch and Smartband for people with sensitive skin.
The materials of our INNOVA devices, smartwatches and smartbands are selected
following a rigorous control of hypoallergenic measures, in addition to
guaranteeing that all materials comply with current regulations for materials
in contact with the skin.
However, a small number of people may experience some type of skin reaction.
If you suspect or know that you are allergic or have a more sensitive skin
type than normal, you should monitor the use of these devices in case you
experience any type of reaction due to allergies, environmental factors,
prolonged exposure to irritants, such as soap or sweat, or other causes.
Smartwatches and smartbands may contain materials such as Nickel and Acrylates
that, even though they are in amounts allowed in the manufacturing process, if
you are sensitive to them, you could suffer some type of skin reaction. If you
use these types of devices for a long time, you are more susceptible to
developing skin sensitivities over time.
To avoid possible skin irritation, we recommend that you do not expose the
device to chemicals and do not use it if your skin has had or has recently
used any of the products listed below:
- Insect repellents
- Moisturizing creams and lotions
- Oils
- Perfumes
- Antiseptic gels
- Soaps
- Sun protection creams
It is recommended to use the devices when the skin is completely dry and free
of a ny of the aforementioned products to prevent their charging contacts and
measurement sensors from coming into contact with skin that is too wet, paying
special attention to devices that are not submersible or waterproof. Clean the
device well and allow it to dry thoroughly to remove sweat after training.
Prolonged exposure to moisture may cause skin irritation. It is also advisable
not to wear these devices too tight or too loose. If the strap is too tight,
it can also irritate the skin. If the strap is too loose, it can cause
chafing.
The watch band should be left loose enough so that it can move slightly back
and forth on the wrist.
If you wear the device for a long time, take it off to rest your skin. To
prevent irritation from occurring, the wrist device may be changed.
If you notice redness, swelling, itching, or other irritation, remove your
smartwatch immediately and consult your doctor before using the device again.
Special attention must be taken with the use of these devices in places with relatively low humidity conditions.
When Smartwatch/Smartband are used in places with low relative humidity (dry
places, poorly ventilated, atmospheric conditions of low humidity, dry air
indoors if we have the heating or air conditioning always on, etc…) like any
electronic device, it can be affected by electrostatic charges on unusual but
certain occasions and cause damage to the device and also to the person using
it at that time. Static electricity is everywhere. It surrounds us and we
don’t even notice it.
An effective trick to avoid a high percentage of static electricity at
home:
Have a humidifier. Humidity is a good conductor of electricity, so by
maintaining an acceptable percentage of it, we will avoid static in other
corners of our house where we have metal objects. Some small containers with
water on top of the radiators are another alternative solution.
The use of the devices in bed while sleeping, in children and the elderly is
especially discouraged, since repeated movements during the night can cause a
charge of electrostatic electricity through friction with sheets, blankets,
etc., which leads to a sudden discharge of the watch battery with heating of
the same during this process due to the human body as a conductive element and
can cause redness, irritation, etc. in people with sensitive skin.
If you notice redness, swelling, itching, or other irritation, remove your
watch immediately and consult your doctor before using the device again in
case it is due to any type of allergic or other type of reaction.

NOTE: The INNOVA SMART BAND FITNESS FLOOD (BRAZ/9 (BRAZ/7B)) has a
3-year warranty from the date of purchase.
Particular importance in the durability of the products have the elements that
compose it and that suffer from degradation and loss of capacities due to
their use, understood as normal wear and tear that loses capacity, especially
in the case of rechargeable batteries, depending to a great extent on an
infinity of external factors (hours of use, charge and discharge cycles, use
of inappropriate chargers, temperatures of use, not respecting the recommended
charging times, etc…)
For the guarantee of wear and tear parts, it must be taken into account that
the loss of autonomy of the battery as a result of its aging does not imply a
manufacturing defect, so it is considered normal that after 6 months it has a
loss of 10%, after 15 months 20% – 30% and after 24 months 45%, all
corresponding to proper use of the battery and the charge and discharge cycles
carried out.
Any battery that presents symptoms other than those listed in this manual will
be inspected by the technical service and valued for its warranty
involvement. If, after 24 months from its purchase, the battery presents
symptoms other than those detailed, it will be understood to be exempt from
warranty for the reasons stated above and it will be out of the inspection
process, becoming the customer who, if so desired, must reliably demonstrate
that the battery had defects other than those detailed in this manual before
those 24 months.
