Getting Started:
Oil Fill In/Check Oil:
Before starting, fill in the oil using special Hydraulic Oil (e.g., Earth
Digger 4200XL Hydraulic Oil VVV-S0014).
- Use a 2.0 metric hex driver to unscrew the Flat Head Socket Cap Screws.
- Open the tank carefully with a Flathead Screwdriver to fill in the oil. Do not lose the sealing ring on the Hydraulic Connector.
- Fill in the oil (not more than 120ml) and check the level with a toothpick. Close the tank securely.
Power On:
Recommended batteries and usage times:
- 5300 mAh 7.4V 2S Lipo – 50min
- 6700 mAh 7.4V 2S Lipo – 70min
- 4500mAh 12V Nimh Akku – 35min
- 5000mAh 11.1V 3S Lipo – 40min
Note:
Half-speed and shut-off voltage details are provided for different battery
types. Use a LiPo Battery Buzzer Alarm for monitoring.
Lights On/Off:
You can switch the lights on/off located between the engine cover. Note that
lights may flicker when the battery is low.

Note:
This product is made for heavy-duty usage. Since there are no plastic parts,
it’s designed to last. But hydraulic pumps, hoses and electronics systems can
break over time. Do not let the system overheat during usage. We will have all
spare parts available for sale. Pump, hoses are electronics system is not
covered under warranty, but we do guarantee fully functional at arrival. Each
unit is fully tested twice before we ship.
- Each unit is professionally assembled, adjusted and tested. Do not adjust the oil pressure switch. The oil pressure will drop as you operate over time.
- This Excavator is shipped without oil. You will have to fill the tank yourself (Page 5), by using a funnel or tube (not included).

Getting Started
- Oil fill-in/check oil Before you begin, you must first fill in the oil.
- Caution, it is important that you use only specially Hydraulic Oil
- For example Earth Digger 4200XL Hydraulic Oil VVV-S0014.
- First screw the 4 Flat Head Socket Cap Screws off, you need a 2.0 metric hex driver Pic. 1
- Open the tank with a Flat head Screwdriver (Pic. 2). Attention, carefully screw off the tank and do not lose the sealing ring on the Hydraulic Connector. Pic.3
- Now you can fill in the oil and check how much is inside with a toothpick for example. Pic 4 Do not fill more than 120ml inside. Close the tank
Power on
We advise the following batteries for use. We have reached the following times
with the different types of batteries. Normally used mixed “Digger and Drive”
- 5300 mAh 7.4V 2S Lipo 50min
- 6700 mAh 7.4V 2S Lipo 70min
- 4500mAh 12V Nimh Akku 35min
- 5000mAh 11.1V 3S Lipo 40min
- Using 2S, half speed at 6.5V and shut off at 6V / Using 3S, half speed at 9.75V and shut off at 9V.
Please use a LiPo Battery Buzzer Alarm because inside the ESC are no alarms.
You can place the Battery behind the cabine, fix them please with some Velcro.

Light on/off
You can switch on/off the lights between the engine cover Pic. 9/10
It is normally that the lights flicker if the battery goes to the end.
Functions of oil pump with and without
- Before you put the battery into the system, check, if all switches are in zero position. You can read more about “10 Channel Radio”
- Function when oil pump is off: Drive the tracks, turn the turntable
- Function when the oil pump is on: you can use all hydraulic functions.

The custom 10 Channel 2.4 Ghz radio
- Before you can use the radio, you must insert 4 AA batteries (not included). You can use Lipos, too.
- For example the 11,2V 3S 2200mAh Lipo

Battery Size should be within 160mm x 51mm x 73mm (L x W x H).
While some components may come assembled, it may be in your best interests to check the products to ensure all hardware is tight. In some cases, you may want to apply thread lock to some of the hardware that is already installed.
- ESC Supports XT60 Connector
- Use good quality hex drivers to avoid stripping screw heads.
- Use thread lock when putting metal screws into metal parts.
- Steps marked with an asterisk (*) require thread lock.
- Use thread lock sparingly.
- Do not over-tighten screws otherwise, you may strip the thread.
