IS IPL SUITABLE FOR ME?
WHY DOESN’T MY DEPILATOR FLASH?
To protect your eyes, the device will not activate(flash) when it is not in good contact with your skin. Please hold the flash window against your skin while using it.
Precautions
- Please read this manual carefully before using this product.
- Keep the instructions for future reference.
- The product is not suitable for the following people:
- People with impaired skin sensation.
- Allergic dermatitis, eczema, and other skin diseases.
- Allergic to cosmetics, clothing, metals, and those with photosensitivity.
- Pregnant women, women who are currently menstruating and/or lactating.
- Those who have been exposed to direct sunlight and been tanned and/or sunburnt in the past two weeks.
- Children under 8 years old.
Do Not Use This Product in the Following Areas:
- Tanned skin;
- Areas with infections, eczema, burns, inflammation, open lacerations, wounds, lesions or hematomas;
- Dark-brown or black skin areas such as black eyes and freckles (please refer to the skin color comparison card for details);
- Hemangioma;
- Parts of the body that have undergone medical or plastic surgery;
- Around the eyes and near the eyebrows;
- Nipple, areola, labia minora, vagina, anus, and the inside of the nostrils and ears;
- For male users, do not use the product on the face or genitals;
- Blemishes, tattoos, or permanent make-up, as this could permanently bum the skin;
- Tattoo or permanent mark;
- Do not look directly at the flash window while operating, or use the flash on the eyes.
- This product should not be used in areas near water! (Such as a bathtub filled with water, a shower, or a swimming pool)
- Do not spray alcohol directly onto the flash window if there are any stains on the filter lens.
- Do not apply any gelatinous cosmetics or water to the skin during use to avoid damaging the device.
- Avoid ultraviolet radiation During treatment, apply sunscreen to avoid damage from direct sunlight
- During use, do not block the air inlet or cooling holes to avoid over-heating.
- If the product case is damaged or inadvertently immersed in water, Stop using it immediately and contact customer service to inquire about repairs.
- No one should open the machine case except to authorized company personnel, otherwise there is a risk of electric shock. Non-professionals are prohibited from performing repairs.
Working Principle
Depilator Introduction
IPL depilation is used to remove excess hair and permanently reduce hair
growth. When performed 1-3 times every week, hair can be effectively removed
after 8-12 weeks. Hair can be removed from the following parts of the body:
face (below cheek-bones only), underarms, arms, legs, bikini line, etc.
The Operation Theory of Depilator
The IPL depilator is a personal care appliance, and caution should be
exercised during usage. Please read this user manual carefully before using
the laser depilator for the first time. This product removes hairs by heating
both the hairs and the roots under the skin. The pulse light emitted by the
depilator is absorbed by the melanin contained in the hairs and roots. More
light will be absorbed the darker the hair color is, which will then cause the
hair to go into a dormant state. Hair will fall off naturally during the
process. This typically takes one to two weeks to occur, and new hair growth
will also be inhibited. Ideal hair removal results cannot be achieved with
just one treatment, as optical hair removal is only effective in inhibiting
hair growth in the long term. During the treatment process, the hair in the
treatment area will typically be in different stages of growth, to effectively
remove hair, you must undergo treatment once a week for several weeks, The
built-in optical filer prevents ultraviolet rays from entering the skin,
ensuring that the product does not harm the skin

HOW TO USE
Guidance For Product Use
- Power on : After connecting to a power source, press the power button for 2 seconds to turn on,
- Shut down: While the device is powered on, press the power button for 2 seconds to shut down,
Energy Level Adjustment : While the device is powered on, quickly press
the key to select the 5 level settings, The screen will display those five
levels as shown below (the default is 1st level setting, and can be adjusted
as needed)
Choose the Correct Light Intensity:
The device has 5 different energy intensity levels, You can choose the right
level setting based on your skin type and the level of energy intensity you
feel comfortable with, Please refer to the table below to select the
appropriate setting,
Treatment Modes
Depending on the area you wish to treat you can choose between Auto
Mode(Gliding mode) and Manual Mode(Precision mode), Auto Mode enables fast and
efficient treatments and is recommended for large skin surface areas (e,g,
legs, arms, chest and back) while Manual mode is recommended for treating
sensitive or small, hard-to-reach areas such as knees, shins, ankles, bikini
line or underarm and face for females,
Begin Your Treatment
Step 1: Preparing the treatment area
Remove all visible hair on the skin before using the device, You may use your
preferred hair removal method, Ensure there is no hair remaining above the
surface of the skin as this may cause treatment discomfort, Remove any
cosmetics, lotions and cream from the area you wish to treat Cleanse the
treatment area and pat dry,
Step 2: Doing a test patch
Before your first treatment on each new body area, we RECOMMEND you test your
skin (in that area) for reactions, The patch test area should be approximately
3 cm x 2 cm in size (equivalent to 2 flashes applied to the skin side by
side). Follow Step 3-6 to treat the area. Wait 24 hours following the patch
test, to ensure your skin is suitable for treatment and there is no adverse
reaction to the light energy, If there is no reaction after 24 hours, you may
treat the area around the test patch. The ‘patch tested area “should not be
re-treated for at least one week,
Step 3. Wear the eye protection goggles
Step 4. Power on
Plug the power cord into the socket of the device and connect to the power
supply, Press the power button ® for 2 seconds to turn on the device, When the
machine is powered on, the working sound of the built-in fan will be heard and
all function icons on the LCD will illuminate,
Step 5. Treating with XSOUL IPL Hair Removal
- Press the flash window ()) 90 degree firmly against the area to be treated, ensuring it is in contact with skin, To protect your eyes, the device will not activate(flash) when it is not in good contact with your skin, The ‘Ready to flash ‘Indicator® should be flashing green,
- Short press the power button ® to adjust the energy levels, The default setting is level 1, you can adjust the energy level according to your skin color, (NOTE: For a better treatment result, it is recommended to start from level 3)
Manual Mode:
When turned on, the device will starts from manual mode by default. Press and
instantly release the flash button ® The device will emit a flash, Lift off
the device and place it onto the next adjacent spot to be treated, Wait for
the ‘Ready to flash ‘Indicator® to flash green again, Then press and release
the flash button. Continue treatment spot by spot until you have completed the
entire area you wish to treat
Auto Mode:
Hold the flash button ® against the skin for about 3-5 seconds, the device
will switch from Manual mode to Auto Mode, When the flash window is attached
to the skin, it will automatically flash, Move the device slowly and
continuously from the bottom to the top of the treatment area to avoid
missing areas, Make sure to always keep full skin contact so that the device
flashes continuously, Short Press the flash button ® to switch from Auto mode
to Manual mode,
Step 6: Switching Off the Device
When the treatment is finished, press the power button@ for 2 seconds to turn
it off, Unplug the device from the power supply, and the electrical outlet.

Precautions After Treatment
- Do not use cosmetics that contain alcohol after depilation, Do not expose treated skin areas to hot water above 50°C after hair removal
- Do not exercise vigorously after hair removal, as strenuous exercise can cause sweating which can irritate treated areas
- Do not expose treated areas to direct sunlight after hair removal
Stress Response of Skin After Hair Removal
Due to different sensitivities of every individual’s skin, some people may
have redness on the hair removal site, red spots on the skin surface, or a
slight tingling sensation while using the device, These are all normal stress
reactions of the skin, and usually disappear within 24 hours after the end of
hair removal without any further effects, Shaving hair and pulsed light
therapy may make the skin dry and/or itchy, You can use ice water, a towel
that has been soaked in ice water, a cold compress, and may also moisturize,
If the skin is still dry, you can stop treatment for 24 hours, Afterwards,
apply fragrances-free moisturizer to the treatment area, If the above symptoms
do not disappear within 2-3 days, please consult a doctor as soon as possible,
If you experience intense pain during or after use, if the skin is
keratinized, red, swollen, burned, or abnormal in any other way, stop
treatment immediately and consult a doctor,
Care After Using IPL Depilator Skin Care
- It is recommended to avoid contact with water within 6 hours after light operation, after 6 hours, the treated area can be moisturized.
- After the treament, you may apply cream, body lotion, and moisturizer to the treatment area. If the skin is tinging, red, or swollen after application, please wait until these conditions have disappeared completely before applying any further products on the skin. If the skin tingles after application, wash it off with water.
- Do not use perfume, facial masks, or cosmetics which cosmetics which contain cellulose beads after light treatment.
- Avoid direct UV exposure within 48 hours after light operation. Apply sunscreen if necessary.
- lf you feel unwell, visit to your doctor.
- Sunbathing may cause darkening or burning of the skin, which can cause redness, inflammation, and similar adverse effects. Therefore, do not use this product while exposed lo direct sunlight, and do not use it within 1 week of being sunburnt.
- Do not expose the skin to direct sunlight within 48 hours after using the depilator. If the skin is exposed to direct sunlight with 48 hours, please be cautious and watch out for any adverse skin reactions. Apply sunscreen for 72 hours after treatment.
- Do not use artificial tanning spray during light treatment.
- Consult a physician if you need to perform plastic surgery after illumination (only applicable for areas that have been treated).
Clean and Care
- It is recommended to clean the machine after each use to ensure the lifespan of it.
- DO NOT wash the machine or its accessories under the faucet or in the dishing machine,
- DO NOT use the abrasive cleansers(toothpaste, etc,), steel clean ball or corrosive liquid(petrol, oil, acetone etc.) to clean the machine,
- Please wipe the flashlight screen gently when cleaning,
