  • WARNING! Ensure that Health & Safety, Local Authority Regulations and general workshop practice Regulations are adhered to when using tools.
  • DO NOT use tools if damaged.
  • Maintain tools to ensure that they are in an adequate condition for safe use and optimum performance.
  • Wear suitable clothing to avoid snagging. DO NOT wear jewellery. Tie back long hair.

INTRODUCTION

  • For clutch plate alignment on 5 speed gearboxes fitted to engine codes (W10, B14A and B16A).
  • 6 Speed applications use Model No.VS717.

OPERATION

  • Locate the tool to clutch the spigot bearing and engage the tapered section to the clutch plate.
  • Ensure a good fit but DO NOT force the alignment tool in such that it causes damage.

MAINTENANCE

  1. Clean the tool after use with a soft clean cloth and lightly oil the surfaces to prevent surface corrosion.
  2. Store the tool such that no physical damage can occur to any of its surfaces.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION

All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner that is compatible with the environment.
