Installation steps
Option1： General installation
- Step 1 – Measure and Mark the LED channel length location required for your project.
- Step 2 – Cut aluminum channels with a miter saw and plastic covers with scissors as needed.
- Step 3 – Mark the hole location to install the mounting clip.
- Step 4 – Fixed the mounting clip with self-tapping screws.
- Step 5 – Insert the aluminum channel into the mounting clip.
- Step 6 – Remove the led strip back film and attach it to the channel.
- Step 7 – Melt the solder joint of the LED strip, remove the wire, and pass it through the hole of the end cap.
- Step 8 – Connect the wire to theLED strip.
- Step 9 – Press the cover into the LED channel.
- Step10 – Install end caps on both sides (The gap can be sealed with hot melt glue).
Option2: Bendable installation
- Step 1 – Bend the LED channel into the shape you need.
- Step 2 – Mark and cut off the excess of the LED cover.
- Step 3 – Cut aluminum channels and plastic covers as needed.
- Step 4 – Mark the hole locations to install mounting clips.
- Step 5 – Fixed mounting clips with self-tapping screws.
- Step 6 – Insert the LED channel into mounting clips.
- Step 7 – Attach the LED strip to the channel.
- Step 8 – Press the cover into one end of the channel and secure it with crepe paper.
- Step 9 – Press the rest of the cover along the channel.
Tips
- Only fit for LED strips with a width < 13mm.
- Please be careful to bend the LED channel during installation, otherwise it will be difficult to restore the original shape.
