household waste! As a consumer you are legally obligated to return all
batteries for environmentally responsible recycling no matter whether or not

or shops selling batteries of the respective kind. Only return fully
discharged batteries

To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for long periods
Safety, Environmental and Setup Instructions
- Use the device in dry indoor environments only.
- Protect the device from humidity.
- This apparatus is for moderate climates areas use, not suitable for use in tropical climates countries.
- No objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.
- Make sure the mains cable stays dry during operation. Do not pinch or damage the mains cable in any way.
- In case of lightning, immediately disconnect the device from the mains supply.
- Children should be supervised by parents when using the device.
- Clean the device with a dry cloth only.
- Do NOT use CLEANING AGENTS or ABRASIVE CLOTHS!
- Do not expose the device to direct sunlight or other heat sources.
- Do not cover the ventilation openings!
- Install the device at a safe and vibrationfree location. Install the device as far away as possible from computers and microwave units; otherwise radio reception may be disturbed.
- Do not open or repair the enclosure. It is not safe to do so and will void your warranty. Repairs only by authorized service/ customer center.
- No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the unit.
- When you are necessary to ship the unit store it in its original package. Save the package for this purpose.
- In case of malfunction due to electrostatic discharge or fast transient (burst), remove and reconnect the power supply.
- If the unit is not using for a long period of time, disconnect it from the power supply by unplugging the power plug. This is to avoid the risk of fire.

CHARGING THE RADIO
Before first time to operate, please fully charge the battery.
- Open the battery cover and insert the Lithium rechargeable battery.
- Plug the micro USB cable (included) into the socket (on the right side of the radio). Connect the other end of the cable to power supply such as USB port of computer or USB power adaptors for battery charging.
- The radio will begin charging the battery. It will take approximately 2.5 hours to fully charge the battery.
- The charging icon will flash during charging and stop charging when the radio is fully charged.
OPERATION YOUR RADIO
- Make sure the battery is charged.
- Press and hold the “POWER/MODE” button to turn on the radio.
- The display will show “DAB+” icon and the enter DAB mode (FM mode if you selected FM before turning off), “DAB” logo will be shown on the middle top of the display in DAB mode whereas “FM” logo will be shown in FM mode.
- Adjust the volume to comfortable level (Volume Level: 00-20).
- To turn the radio off press and hold the “ POWER/MODE” button. When you turn off the radio, the mode will be memorized.
RADIO ANTENNA
- For DAB+ and FM reception there is a built-in telescopic antenna at the top of the unit.
- Extend the antenna and move it around to obtain the best reception.
- When headphone is used and plug in the headphone jack it will be acted as antenna. The telescopic antenna will then be disabled and can be retrieved.
DAB+ MODE
- Press the “POWER/MODE” button repeatedly until “DAB” will show in the display.
- Press and hold the “SCAN” Scroll Wheel button to enter the menu and select “Scan”. The radio will scan and memorize all the channels automatically. For first time use, the radio will automatically scan all DAB+ channels when the power on.
- Select channel by scrolling up and down the “SCAN” Scrolling Wheel button.
- All the channels being scanned will be memorized until another scan is performed.
PRESETS: DAB+ mode
Max. 20 preset channels for DAB+ radio mode.
- Make sure you are in DAB+ mode
- When you are listening the DAB+ channel you would like to preset press and hold the “PRESET” button for 3 seconds. A list with heading “DAB Memory” will show on the display. You will see 1. vacant, 2. vacant, …etc in the list. Select the number by scrolling up and down the “SCAN” Scrolling Wheel button and the press the “SCAN” Scrolling Wheel button to confirm. A message of “Store Successfully” will be shown. If the preset space is occupied, the original preset channel will be overwritten.
- To play the preset channels press once the “PRESET” button and select the preset channel by scrolling up and down the “SCAN” Scrolling Wheel button. Then press the “SCAN” Scrolling Wheel button to confirm.
Service Information
The Service Information displays technical information on the current status of the channel being broadcasted. While listening to DAB+ the display will show the following information if available:
1. Program Type
2. Time
3. Channel Name| 4. Volume Level
5. Signal Strength
6. Battery Level

FM MODE
Search and select channels (auto-memorized)
- Press the “POWER/MODE” button repeatedly until “FM” will show in the display.
- Press and hold the “SCAN” Scroll Wheel button to enter the menu and select “Scan”. The radio will scan all the FM channels automatically and will be memorized. A message of “P02/10” will be shown. It means total “10” FM channels are scanned and stored and “02” means the 2nd channel is selected out of the 10 FM channels.
- Select channel by scrolling up and down the “SCAN” Scrolling Wheel button.
Manual tuning
- Make sure the radio is in FM mode.
- Press and hold the “SCAN” Scrolling Wheel button to enter the menu and select “Scan” again. Then it will return to FM manual mode and the message of “P02/10” will be disappeared.
- Scroll up or down and hold it to scan the next channel at higher or lower frequency.
- Scroll up or down to change the frequency in 0.1MHz steps.
PRESETS: FM mode
Max. 20 preset channels for FM mode.
- Make sure the radio is in FM mode.
- Do the same steps as in DAB+ radio mode.
Service Information: FM mode
While listening to FM radio the display will show the following information if
available:
1. Program Type
2. Frequency
3. Channel Name| 4. Volume Level
5. Signal Strength
6. Battery Level

SLEEP TIMER
- Press and hold the “SCAN” Scrolling Wheel button to enter the menu and select “Sleep” and press the “SCAN” Scrolling Wheel button to confirm.
- Scroll up or down to select the duration from 15 min. to 90 min. with interval of 15 min.
- Press the “SCAN” Scrolling Wheel button again to confirm. You will see the selected duration on the top of the display.
- Repeat the same procedure to select “Off” to cancel the sleep timer.
LANGUAGE SELECTION
- Press and hold the “SCAN” Scrolling Wheel button to enter the menu and select “Language” and press the “SCAN” Scrolling Wheel button to confirm.
- Scroll up or down to select your prefer language (English, Dansk, Norsk, Deutsch) and press the “SCAN” Scrolling Wheel button again to confirm.
BACKLIGHT TIMER
- Press and hold the “SCAN” Scrolling Wheel button to enter the menu and select “Backlight” and press the “SCAN” Scrolling Wheel button to confirm.
- Scroll up or down to select the duration of display backlight from 10s, 30s, and always on.
- Press the “SCAN” Scrolling Wheel button again to confirm.
SOFTWARE VERSION
- Press and hold the “SCAN” Scrolling Wheel button to enter the menu and select “Version” and press the “SCAN” Scrolling Wheel button to confirm.
- Press the “SCAN” Scrolling Wheel button again to show the software version.
FACTORY RESET
- Press and hold the “SCAN” Scrolling Wheel button to enter the menu and select “Reset” and press the “SCAN” Scrolling Wheel button to confirm.
- Press the “SCAN” Scrolling Wheel button again to confirm and restore the factory setting.
KEY LOCK FUNCTION
- The Key Lock switch is located at the right side of the radio. When the Key Lock switch is set to “LOCK” position all buttons will be disabled. The Display will show a “lock icon” on the top of it.
- To switch off the Key Lock function, switch the Key Lock switch to off position. The Key Lock function will be disabled and the “lock icon” will be disappeared.
