Installation And Operation
Installation
Warning
- DO NOT PLACE CANDLES, INSECT REPELLANTS, OR CIGARETTES ON TOP OF THE PRODUCT. DO NOT INSTALL THE PRODUCT NEAR HEAT SOURCES.

- Do not install the product in poorly ventilated spaces such as a bookcase or closet.
- An increased internal temperature may cause a fire.
- Do not install the product on an unstable or vibrating surface (insecure shelf, sloped surface, etc.)
- The product may fall and become damaged or cause an injury.
- Using the product in an area with excess vibration may damage the product or cause a fire.
- Do not expose the product to direct sunlight, heat, or a hot object such as a stove.
- The product lifespan may be reduced or a fire may result.
- Do not install the product within the reach of young children.
- The product may fall and injure children.
- Edible oil, such as soybean oil, can damage or deform the product. Do not install the product in a kitchen or near a kitchen counter.
- Have a technician install the wall-mount hanger.
- Installation by an unqualified person can result in an injury.
- Install the Cabinet using the frame kit provided by the manufacturer.
- Install the product at least 10 cm away from the wall to allow ventilation.

- Keep the plastic packaging out of the reach of children.

- Do not install the product in a vehicle or a place exposed to dust, moisture (water drips, etc.), oil, or smoke.

Following installation, it is recommended to dehumidify the LED Signage product before use.
- This helps prevent moisture damage and maintain optimal performance.

- When installing the product on a cabinet or shelf, ensure that the bottom edge of the front is not protruding.

There is a high voltage inside the product. Never disassemble, repair, or
modify the product yourself.

Cleaning
- The LED structure is revealed on the front of the monitor. Exercise caution to ensure that you do not touch the structure. There is a risk that the LED element may fall or become damaged.

Connecting Devices
Precautions when handling the cabinets

After removing the protective brackets, be careful not to expose the product to external shocks or vibrations. Make sure that the product is not dropped from any height.

Installing the cabinets

Make sure you entrust the installation to a professional installation service provider. For further installation information, contact the dealer you purchased the product from.

Install the cabinet using the frame kit provided by the manufacturer.
For more information about how to install the frame kit, refer to the user manual that comes with it. -
Samsung shall not be liable for any damage to the product and any injury to the users or others that may be incurred while the users install the product by themselves.
Removing the protective brackets
Remove the safety bracket before proceeding to installation.
Connecting to cabinets
- Connect the S-Box (SNOW-1810U) and the cabinet to the installed cabinet for video signal transmission.
- Connect the S-Box to the external device before connecting the S-Box to the cabinet. ” Before connecting power to the cabinets, connect the Interface Gender (I/G) to the cabinets first.
- Connect only one type of LED pitch cabinet to a single S-Box. Normal picture quality may not be obtained if different types of cabinets are connected. Do NOT use different types of LED pitch cabinets together.

Connect the HDBT ports on the S-Box and I/G cards using a LAN cable.

Connect I/G cards and cabinets using OCM cables. ” Use a cable of CAT 6 (*STP type) or higher.
STP: Shielded Twisted Pair. -
Connect the HDBT by using a LAN cable that is 15–100 m in length. If you use a cable that is out of the specified length range, the signal quality may be unstable.

Use the LAN cables recommended on the HDBaseT website (http://hdbaset.org/hdbasetrecommended-cables). If a LAN cable that is not recommended is used, the HDBT signals may become unstable.

- In case of powering IEA and IEA-F together, adjust the cabinet number so that total Power consumption is under 600W for 110V and 1000W for 220V.
- Exceeding the recommended maximum number of devices may produce overvoltage, causing the circuit breaker to trip down or the product to be damaged. Make sure that the number of connected devices does not exceed the recommended maximum number.
- Samsung is not liable for any problems incurred by connecting devices that exceed the recommended maximum number.
- The label info which is attached to the product shows the rated power of the cabinet and the rated current of the outlet
- Transfer power by daisy chain with extension power cable.
- Do not use the POWER OUT socket of the last Cabinet

Plug-and-Play
This monitor can be installed and used with any Plug-and-Play compatible
system. Two-way data exchange between the monitor and PC system optimizes the
monitor settings. Monitor installation takes place automatically. However, you
can customize the installation settings if desired.
- When cabinets are installed in a Pivot configuration, the image quality on the right and left sides may vary depending on the viewing angle.

Appendix
Responsibility for the Pay Service (Cost to Customers)
When the service is requested, despite in warranty, we may charge you for a
visit from a service technician in the following cases.
Not a product defect
Cleaning of the product, Adjustment, Explanation, Re-installation, etc.
- If a service technician gives instructions on how to use a product or simply adjusts options without disassembling the product.
- If a defect is caused by external environmental factors (Internet, Antenna, Wired Signal, etc.)
- If a product is reinstalled or devices are connected additionally after installing the purchased product for the first time.
- If a product is reinstalled to move to a different spot or to move to a different house.
- If a customer requests instructions on how to use because of another company’s product.
- If a customer requests instructions on how to use the network or another company’s program.
- If a customer requests software installation and setup for the product.
- If a service technician removes/cleans bags of dust or foreign materials inside of the product.
- If the customer requests an installation additionally after purchasing a product through home-shopping or online.
Product damage caused by a customer’s fault
