Quick Start Guide

In-app Setup

  1. Make sure your Alarm is disarmed.
  2. In the app, tap Set Up a Device and find the Range Extender in the Security Devices menu.
  3. Follow the in-app instructions to complete the setup.

Installation

  1. Make sure the Range Extender is plugged into an outlet at all times.
  2. Choose an outlet between your Base Station and some of the devices farthest from your Base Station.

You can move the Range Extender to another outlet as needed to expand the range of your Z-Wave network.

Range Extender is for indoor use only. Do not expose your device to liquids. If your device or adapter gets wet, carefully unplug the device without getting your hands wet and wait for the device to dry completely before plugging it in again. Do not attempt to dry your device with an external heat source, such as a microwave oven or a hairdryer. If the device appears damaged, discontinue use immediately. To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not touch your device during a lightning storm.
WATCH FOR SMALL PARTS. Your device and accessories may present a choking hazard to small children. Keep them out of reach of small children.
WARNING: Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment. This equipment should be installed and operated with a minimum distance 20 cm between the radiator & your body.
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of electrical shock, DO NOT open the unit. There are no user-serviceable parts inside the unit. Refer to customer support for any repairs.
