Example of Setting 96ft-lb on a 10~150 ft-lb 1/2″ Drive Click Torque Wrench

  2. Locate the lock nut on the bottom of the handle. Turning it counter-clockwise will enable the knurled handle to turn for the torque setting.
  3. Keep turning the black knurled handle to set the micrometre handle at 6 lbs corresponding position on the handle.
  4. Turn the lock nut clockwise to the lock setting handle to finish the setup.

OPERATION

  1. Install a proper-sized socket or attachment onto the square drive.

  3. Once hear the “click”, stop applying the force and the wrench will set itself ready for the next use for the same torque setting.

MAINTENANCE

  • Store this torque wrench inside the storage box in a dry and clean environment.
  • DO NOT use any cleaner or fluid to clean it. A dry cleaning cloth is recommended.
  • When not in use, always keep torque at the lowest setting. BELOW the lowest setting can also damage it.
  • If this torque wrench is not in use for a long time, use it on non-critical parts with a low setting to let it self-lubricate.

IMPORTANT

  • ONE DIRECTION : This torque wrench only measures torque when tightening screws/nuts (clockwise rotation).
  • STORE AT ZERO: When not in use, always keep torque at the lowest setting. BELOW the lowest setting can also damage it.
  • FEEL THE CLICK: Choose a torque wrench with proper range, and “click” at a low torque setting will be subtle.
  • OPERATE SLOWLY : This torque wrench will “click” when reaching the torque setting, but it will not stop applying force by itself.
  • PRACTICE FIRST : Be sure to try this torque wrench on non-critical fasteners to learn the mechanism before using it.
  • WE ARE HERE TO HELP : Do not try to take this torque wrench apart, please contact TICONN customer service with any issues.
