Front Door Lock Set Installation Instruction
Contents:
Before getting started, please ensure the package contains the components
below: 
Packing List
Precautions for Installation
- Remove the packaging film on the product.
- Please check and see if there is any damage on the product.
- Please check and see if any installation components is missing.
- Make sure the thickness of the door is between 1-3/8″ and 1-3/4″ (35mm-45mm)
Left- or Right-Handed Door Installation
Stand outside and face the door:
- If the hinges are installed on the left, the door is left-handed.
- If the hinges are installed on the right, the door is right-handed

Stand Outside and Face the Door
Fold the supplied template along the fold line and place on the exterior side of your door. Mark the location of the new holes on your door according to the template, and then drill the holes.
Step 1: Drill Holes into the Door
- Measure and check that the diameter of the hole in the door is 2-1/8″ (54mm)
- Measure and check that the backset if either 2-3/8″ or 2:3/4″ (60mm or 70mm)
- Measure and check that the diameter of the side hole in the door is 1 (25mm)
- Mark for 1-3/6″(35mm) or 1-3/4*(45mm) Door Insert the latch and ensure itis parallel to the face of the door. Mark the outine of the face plate, and then take out the latch, Use router or chisel to remove 5/32° (4mm) deep along marked outine to allow the face plate to it flush.
Step 2: Adjust the Length of the Latch
Determine if the latch needs to be adjusted to the 2-3/4″ (70
mm) backset.
To adjust, rotate the latch until it
stops.
Reverse the direction to return to the 2-3/8″
(60 mm) backset. v
Step 3: Install the Deadbolt Latch Set
Use two 3/4″ (20mm) screws to tighten the
latch into the door. Do not over-tighten.Use two 3/4″ (20mm) screws 1o tighten the latch into the door. Do ot over-tighten.
Step 4: Install the Exterior Deadbolt
Note: Tail Piece must be installed
horizontal.
Step 5: Install the Interior Deadbolt
Step 6: Install the Exterior Handle
Adjustable Center Distance
Step 7: Install the Interior Handle
Step : 8 Install the Washer and the Cover
Step 9: Install Strikes Plates
Troubleshooting

How can determine i the door i loftor ight-handed?
Yes, itis suitable for both left- and right-handed door.
‘To determine the handing of your door, please stand outside the door and face
the door:
It the hinges are installed on the left, the door is left-handed.
If the hinges are installed on the right, the door is right-handed.

After the Installation, I can only open the door with the button or the
handle, but the deadbolt can’t work.
Please make sure the lacth of the deadbolts installed i the middie ofthe
rotation axis.
Determin ifthe latch needs o be adjustec f the 2:34* (70 ) backset.
Please make sure the key hole is back to ts oiginal position before installing
the lock
