Use the machine only after you have carefully read and understood the operating instructions. Familiarise yourself with the operating elements and the proper use of the machine. Observe all safety instructions contained in these operating instructions. Act responsibly towards other people. The operator is responsible for accidents or hazards affecting third parties. If there is any doubt about connecting and operating the machine, contact customer service. Cleaning and user maintenance may not be carried out by unsupervised children. Children should be supervised to make sure they do not play with the device. Instruct children and unauthorized persons to keep away from the appliance at all times.

Intended use
The pump is intended solely for draining and pumping out containers in the house, garden, farm, and agriculture and is only designed for use with water, taking into account the technical data and safety instructions.
This machine may only be used as directed. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any damage resulting from non-compliance with the provisions of the generally applicable regulations and the provisions of these operating instructions.
Do not use the pump when the outdoor temperature is below 0 °C or above 40 °C.

The pump is not suitable for long-term operation (e.g. as a circulating pump in ponds or for brooks). If this type of operation is carried out, the service life will be reduced accordingly. Make sure there are sufficient breaks between operating cycles.
The pump must not be used for pumping wastewater.
**** The pump must never be used as a circulation pump in swimming pools.

Safety instructions

While the pump is in operation, persons or animals are not allowed to be standing in or immersed in the liquid to be pumped (e.g. swimming pools, cellars, etc.). The temperature of the liquid to be pumped must not exceed +35 °C.
The pump must never run dry. Never operate the pump when it is left unsupervised in order to prevent damage caused by any possible malfunctions.
If the pump is used in pools, wells, etc., and in the corresponding water systems, the standards for pump use in the relevant country must be observed.
The user is responsible for third parties for the use of the pump (water system, etc.). Do not under any circumstances carry out repairs yourself.

Requirements for the operator
The operator must have carefully read and understood the operating instructions before using the machine.
Qualification: Apart from detailed instruction by a competent person, no special qualification for using the machine is required.
Minimum age: The machine may only be operated by persons who are 16 years of age or older. An exception is made for use by a minor if the pump is used in the course of vocational training to acquire the skill under the supervision of a trainer.
Training: The only requirement for using the machine is appropriate instruction by a qualified person or the operating instructions. Special training is not necessary.

In case of emergency
Initiate the first aid measures necessary for the injury and request qualified medical assistance as soon as possible. Safeguard the injured person from further injury and keep them calm.

Maintenance

The machine must not be used if it is damaged or if the safety devices are defective. Replace worn and damaged parts. Repairs and work not described in this manual should only be carried out by qualified personnel. Only use original accessories and original spare parts. Only a regularly serviced and well-maintained machine can be a useful tool. Lack of maintenance and care can lead to unforeseeable accidents and injuries.
We recommend regularly rinsing the pump with clean water to prolong the service life of the pump seals.
Caution! Depending on the design, water that is left standing for a longer period of time may cause corrosion in the pump housing!
(Brown coloration) For winter storage, ensure that there is no water in the device. Otherwise, frost exposure may cause irreparable damage to the device. The pump must be stored in a completely empty and frost-proof state. If required, you can find the spare parts list online at www.guede.com.

Warranty
The warranty period is 12 months for commercial use, 24 months for consumers, and begins with the date of purchase of the machine. The warranty exclusively covers defects attrib- table to material or manufacturing defects. In the event of the assertion of a defect within the meaning of the warranty, the original proof of

GÜDE accepts no liability for damages caused by incorrect installation or operation of the pump.
The system must be regularly inspected and checked to ensure that it is in perfect condition.
Please note that, in accordance with the valid standards, we do not accept any responsibility for any damage caused by our devices if the following have occurred
Inappropriate repairs carried out by unauthorized service centers;

  • Misuse or non-compliance with the intended use;
  • Overloading of the pump through continuous operation;
  • Frost damage and other damage caused by weather;

The same applies to the accessories.
In order to avoid or prevent potential damage (e.g. flooded rooms, etc.) as a result of an improper pump operation (due to malfunctions or defects), the owner (user) must take appropriate safety measures (installation of an alarm device, reserve pump, or similar).

Important customer information
Please note that returns within or outside the warranty period should always be in the original packaging. This measure effectively avoids unnecessary transport damage and any resulting disputed settlement. Your equipment is optimally protected only in the original box, and keeping it in that box will ensure smooth processing.
