Before You Begin Swapping Devices:
Important Note:
Failure to follow the steps as outlined may lead to unsuccessful installation
of applications or the installation of the wrong application.
Tip:
Pausing in the middle of setup may require you to repeat or restart steps for
that device.
- Ensure all fixture parts are available. For missing fixtures, follow the Samsung Repair and Maintenance System (SRMS) process.
- Ensure the phone is available, and the existing tablet and watch are already in place.
- Contact the store manager for missing devices.
- Charge each device to at least 25% battery power.
- Complete removal before installing new devices.
- Power on the device and connect each device to the same Wi-Fi or 5G network.
- Reference the carrier appendix page for the Wi-Fi name and ask the store manager for the Wi-Fi password.
- If facing Wi-Fi connection issues, contact the store manager.
Phone Connected Experience Setup:
This process should take approximately 20 minutes to complete. Follow the on-
screen instructions carefully.
Galaxy Connected Experience Display Verification:
After setting up the devices, verify the connection on the display. This
process should take around 5 minutes.
Removing Existing Devices:
Important Note:
Do not complete the initial device setup after completing the factory reset.
Place the device back in its original packaging after resetting.
Tip:
Have the device’s original packaging available to repackage after a factory
reset.

Before you begin swapping devices
Before you begin – READ
These are steps that when completed before the swapping of devices can
expedite the removal and installation of devices.
Important note
Failure to follow the steps as outlined will lead to unsuccessful
installation of the application or installation of the wrong application.
Tip
Pausing in the middle of setup will lead to having to repeat or restart steps
for that device.
Steps to ensure a smooth setup experience:
- Ensure all fixture parts are available.
- For missing fixtures follow the Samsung Repair and Maintenance System (SRMS) process.
- Ensure the phone is available, and the existing tablet and watch are already in place.
- Contact the store manager for missing devices.
- Charge each device to 25% or greater battery power.
Removal must be completed first and the installation of devices can be completed simultaneously. (i.e. if software multiple device installation is needed.)
- Power on the device
- Connect each device to the same Wi-Fi or 5G network.
- Reference the carrier appendix page for the Wi-Fi name and ask the store manager for the Wi-Fi password.
- Wi-Fi passwords may vary by location.
- For Wi-Fi connection issues, contact the store manager.

Removing existing devices
Phone, Deactivation Of Retail Mode
Important note
Do not complete the initial device setup after completing the factory reset.

Step 1
- Tap the screen to stop the attractor loop.
- Tap the Demo screen five times in the corner.

Step 2
Select the Samsung Retail Mode app. -
Step 3
Select Store Settings. -
Step 4
Input a channel-specific password and select OK. -
Step 5
- Select Device Settings.
- Toggle the Deactivate Retail mode option.

Step 6
- Select OK to start the removal process.
- Select OK to uninstall Retail Mode.
Phone, factory reset
Important note
- Not all channels will be able to complete a tablet factory reset.
- Refer to channel-specific instructions.
Tip
Locate and have available the device’s original packaging to repackage after
factory reset.

Select the ‘Settings’ icon. -

Select ‘Erase all data (factory reset)’. -

Select ‘Erase all data’ then ‘Erase everything’. -

Type the password and tap ‘Continue’. Passwords are case-sensitive.

Important note
Follow the steps in the video. Wait for 20 minutes to complete the download.
The GCE attractor loop will start playing.
Tip
Insert a TMO SIM Card to start the process.
- Power ON the E3
- Initial Phone Setup using Sennco

- Step 1
- Tap once on the attractor loop, tap five times on the highlighted area (top right corner) of the Start on the Phone screen
- Tap on the Samsung Retail Mode app.
- Step 2
- Confirm “PROFILE READY FOR DEMO” in green text.
- Select menu (three dots),
- Select Device Info from the dropdown menu.
- Step 3
- Scroll to verify:
- Retail Mode Client app version: 3.30.6 or higher
- Channel and Store are accurate
- Profile: SEA Multi Device Experience –(Phone)

Important note
First, If the attractor loop is currently running, tap the upper right corner
of the screen (shown on the right) five times.

Tap on the Samsung Retail Mode app. -

Select Store Settings. -

Select the Password line, then type in the Retail Mode password for the retailer.

NOTE: The password is found on the carrier-specific page.

- The RMS Registration menu will be shown.
- Select Choose Store
- Enter the city or Zip code of the store
- Select the correct store from the list.

- Select the store from the list available in the pop-up.
- Enter the Retail Mode password.

- Select Confirm to process the store number change.
- The main Retail mode screen will appear.
- Exit the application, and the attractor loop will begin shortly afterwards.

Tablet Store verification
Important note
Verify the Retail Mode Client information. Use supplemental material if store
numbers or channels need to change.
Tip
If the store number is not correct, use the next page to select the correct
store number.
- Step 1
- Tap once on the attractor loop, tap five times on the highlighted area (top right corner) of the Start on the Phone screen
- Tap on the Samsung Retail Mode app.
- Step 2
- Confirm “PROFILE READY FOR DEMO” in green text.
- Select menu (three dots),
- Select Device Info from the dropdown menu.

- Scroll to verify:
Channel and Store are accurate
- Scroll to verify:
Tablet update store number on Retail mode

Ensure the correct store is chosen for the device.

- Tap on the Samsung Retail Mode app.

Select the Password line, then type in the Retail Mode password for the retailer. -

Watch Connecting to Wi-Fi
Important note
The Wi-Fi must be turned on and connected to the store’s Wi-Fi to receive
Galaxy Connected Experience updates.
Tip
Ensure you have the correct password for the store’s Wi-Fi before beginning
this process.
- Step 1
- Press the lower right side watch button five times
- Swipe up and select the Samsung Retail Mode app.
- Step 2
- Select Store Settings
- Enter password 4555.
- Select the Device setting from the settings list.
- Step 3
- Select Wi-Fi to enable.
- Slide right for the On position.
- Swipe up to select the Wi-Fi network for connection.
- Step 4
- Select Password.
- Select Password on the next screen to enter the password.
- Step 5
- The keyboard will appear for entry. For numerical or symbol entries, swipe up from the bottom.
- Select when done.
- Step 6
- Show the password.
- Select Connect.
- The connection will be processed.
- After connection, the Wi-Fi network will show connected.
- Press the lower right button for the home screen.
Watch Store verification/selection
Important note
The watch must be connected to the same Wi-Fi as the PC.
Tip
The main menu will appear with the message, “Registration data updated” when
selections are completed.
- Step 1
- Press the upper right button to turn on the phone.
- Swipe up and select the Samsung Retail Mode app.
- Step 2
- Select Store Settings
- Enter password 4555.
- Select Store from RMS Registration.
- Step 3
- Select the Search bar.
- The keyboard will appear for entry. Key in city or zip code.
- Select when done.
- Select the correct store from the list.
- Step 4
- The store details will appear.
- Swipe to the bottom and select Register/Update.
- The main menu will appear with the message, ‘Registration data updated.”
Technical verification of GCE
Important note
Leave all devices idle for three minutes and the Connected Experience screens
will appear on each device.
Take a picture of the Wi-Fi connection and Store Info screens on all devices and attach it to the visit report.
Tip
Steps 1-4 below work both on the phone and the Phone to broadcast the Hello!!
Message. However, the number of connected devices only appears on the phone.

Step 1
- Tap the screen to stop the attractor loop.
- Tap the Demo screen five times in the upper right corner.

Step 2
Select the LWCF app to see the connection to other devices. -
Step 3
- Verify the number of connected devices to the phone.
- Phone and Watch = 1
- Phone, watch, tablet = 2
- Phone, watch tablet, PC = 3
- Select the horn icon to display Hello!! On connected devices.

Step 4
- Broadcast example from the Tablet.
- Allow the attractor loop to restart.

Step 5
- Tap the watch, then press the bottom side button five times.
- Swipe up, then select the LWCF icon from the menu.

Step 6
- Select Hello.
- The Hello! The message will appear on the other devices.
Operational Verification of GCE
Important note
Leave all devices idle for three minutes and the Connected Experience screens
will appear on each device.
Tip
After three minutes, if the Connected Experience screens do not appear on each
device, refer to the FAQ and troubleshooting guide.
- Tap the attractor loop on the tablet.
- The demo screen will appear.
- Start on the tablet will appear on the other devices.
Demo test 1
- Select Phone to Watch call transfer.
- The image above will appear.
- Complete demo.
Demo test 2
- Select Watch fitness demo.
- The image above will appear.
- Complete demo.
Tip
- Choose additional demos to verify the appropriate operation for the GCE display configuration. (i.e., run PC demos for PC configurations)
- Leave devices idle to start the attractor loop after each demo.
- Refer to channel-specific details for additional information.
