POWER: Toggle to turn the unit on or off.

STOP : In CD mode, press to stop playback or cancel the program setting.

PAIR/BT OUT: Press to Pair a new Bluetooth device to the unit. Once the device is connected successfully, you can press the PAIR button to disconnect from your external device. For Bluetooth Out, press and hold to connect or disconnect from an external Bluetooth speaker.

NEXT : In CD & Bluetooth mode, press once to skip the current track. In CD mode, press and hold to forward.

REPEAT: Press to select the repeat or shuffle mode.

PREVIOUS TRACK : In CD & Bluetooth mode, press once to return to the beginning of the current track, press again to return to the previous track. In CD mode, press and hold to rewind.

PROG: In stop mode, press to set the program playback.

RADIO TUNER KNOB: In FM mode, turn to tune in a station.

LINE OUT jacks
For amplifier device with RCA auxiliary input sockets, insert the white and red plugs on the RCA cable into the unit. Insert the opposite end into the amplifier device. Be sure to connect the white plug to the white jack and the red plug to the red jack. -
FM Antenna
While tuned to a station in FM mode, extend the wire and reposition to adjust for best reception. -
AC Power Cord
Connect the AC plugs into a wall outlet. It is strongly recommended that this product should be operated only from the type of power source indicated on the marking label.
Parts of the Turntable
A. Turntable.
B. Safety Screw (for transport) Before using the unit, turn the screw
clockwise using a coin or screwdriver. Important: When you transport the unit,
turn the screw counterclockwise to secure the turntable.
C. Speed Selector.
D. Tone Arm holder.
E. Tone Arm. Before use, completely loosen the twist tie on the tone arm
and uplift tone arm.
F. Stylus.
G. 45 RPM adaptor.
H. Cue-lever. Use this lever to lift the tone arm.
Setup / Basic Operation
Setup
- Remove white protective needle cover by gently pulling towards front of unit.
- Remove any packaging materials from the unit.
- Connect the AC power cord to a wall outlet.
Note:
- You’re strongly recommended that this product should be operated only from the type of power source indicated on the marking label.
- To prevent interference, avoid bundling audio signal cables together with the AC power cord.
Basic Operation
- Move the POWER toggle to the ON position. The LED light around the radio dial will light up.
- Select a play mode by rotating the function knob (FM/CD/BT/AUX/PHONO/TAPE).
- Rotate the VOLUME knob to adjust the desired level of sound.
Listening through RCA LINE OUT
For amplifier device listening, first reduce the volume level to minimum. Insert the white and red plugs on the RCA cable into the back of the unit, then insert the opposite end into your amplifier device. Be sure to connect the white plug into the white jack and the red plug into the red jack.
Listening through Earphones/Headphones (not included)
For private listening, first reduce the volume level to minimum. Insert your
headphones’ plug into the 3.5mm jack, then adjust the volume up by turning the
VOLUME knob.
Note: The speakers will automatically be deactivated while headphones are plugged in.
CONDENSATION WARNING:
When the unit is moved from a cold or warm place, or is used following a
sudden temperature change, there is the danger that water vapor in the air may
condense on the unit, preventing proper operation. In such cases, leave the
unit for 1-2 hours after plugging it into an AC outlet to allow it to
stabilize at the temperature of its surroundings.
Listening to the FM Radio
- Rotate the Function Knob to select “FM”. The LED Display will display “rad”.
- Tune to the desired station using the Radio Tuner Knob.
Listening to a CD

Rotate the Function Knob to select CD. The LED Display will display “Cd–”.
( Note: When no disc is set, “no” will appear on the display.) -
Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the tray.
Note: – This button only works in CD mode.- CD door takes four ( ) seconds to open when open/close ( ) is pressed in CD mode.

Place a disc on the tray with the printed label face up.
-
Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to close the tray.
-
After that the number of tracks will show on the display and it will begin to playback from the first track automatically.
-
To temporarily pause playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE button ( ). Press again to resume.
-
To return to the previous or skip tracks, press the corresponding button ( or ). Pressing once will restart the current track. Pressing twice in succession will return to the beginning of the previous track.
-
To Fast Forward / Rewind within a track, press and hold down the corresponding skip button until the desired position is reached.
-
To stop playback, press the STOP button
Important:
- Never place more than one disc on the tray.
- The disc must be placed in the center of the disc tray. An incorrectly loaded disc can permanently damage the tray door mechanism.
- Do not push the CD tray – always use the OPEN/CLOSE button.
- It takes a moment for the unit to load a disc, during which all buttons will be temporarily deactivated.
Repeat Playback
Each time the REPEAT button is pressed, the repeat mode will cycle through the following options:
REPEAT ONE(Repeat one track)
The “REPEAT ONE” icon will appear on the display and the current track will be
played repeatedly. If you press the ( or ) button to select another track, the
track you select will be played repeatedly.
REPEAT ALL (Repeat the entire CD)
The “REPEAT ALL” icon will show on the display and the entire CD will be
played repeatedly.
SHUFFLE
The “SHUFFLE” icon will appear on the display. Playing the tracks on a CD mode
in a random sequence.
Notes:
- Repeat playback works with CD discs only.
- Pressing ( ) during shuffle playback will randomly select the next track.
- A track cannot be repeated during shuffle playback.
- Shuffle playback doesn’t work during programmed playback.
To cancel the REPEAT or SHUFFLE mode, press the REPEAT button repeatedly till the right side icon disappear from the display.
Programmed Playback
Up to 20 tracks can be programmed to play in the desired order.
Notes:
- Programmed playback works with CD’s only.

Select “CD” mode, then load a CD.
-
While the CD is stopped, press the PROGRAM button.
-
“PROG” indicator lights up and “P01” blinks on the display.
-
Press ( or ) to select a track number.
-
Press the PROGRAM button again to set the next program track, “P02” appears and blinks. Repeat steps 4 through 5 to program the additional tracks.
-
When the selection of track numbers has been finished, press the PLAY button ( ) to start program playback.
(Note: when all 20 program tracks are finalized, press the PROGRAM button once and “FI” will appear on the display) -
Press the STOP ( ) button twice to cancel the program mode and then the “PROG” will disappear from the display.
To check the programmed order
In the stop mode, press ( or ) repeatedly to show the track numbers that have
been programmed
To add a track to the end of the programmed order: In the stop mode, press the PROGRAM button. Select a track number by pressing ( or ), then press the PROGRAM button. The current track will be added to the end of the program.
Listening to an External Audio Device (Bluetooth Mode)
In Bluetooth mode, this unit can play music from external devices which have a built-in Bluetooth feature.
GETTING CONNECTED USING BLUETOOTH

Rotate to select “BT” function. The LED Display will display “bt”.
-
The “BT” will be flashing on the display while searching for a device.
-
On your external device, turn ON the Bluetooth function.
NOTE: The effective distance between your external device and this apparatus is 10 meters (33ft). -
Wait a moment for “Victrola Empire” to appear on the devices list. Press “Victrola Empire” to connect to the unit. Sometimes a window will ask you for a password. Fill in “0000” then press “OK” on your external device.

Once the Bluetooth connection is successful the “BT” Indicator will remain lit.
-
You can press BACK or NEXT button to skip the previous/next track or control on your device.
NOTE:
- The PAIR Button allows you to disconnect from your external while remaining in Bluetooth mode. Simply press the PAIR button to disconnect and search for a new device. Follow the pairing directions above to connect to the new device.
- Fast Forward / Rewind is only available on your external device.
Vinyl Stream (Bluetooth Out Mode)
In FM, PHONO, CD, AUX, TAPE mode, you can use Bluetooth Out function to play music from the device on an external Bluetooth speaker.

In FM, PHONO, CD, AUX, or TAPE mode, a Bluetooth signal will automatically emit from the unit. “BT” will be flashing on the display.

If you want use an external Bluetooth speaker to play your music, simply turn ON your external Bluetooth speaker, make sure it is in Bluetooth pairing mode, and let it connect to the unit.
NOTE: The effective distance between your external device and this device is 10 meters (33ft). -
When the pairing is successful, the device’s internal speakers will turn off and the music will play from your external speaker. “BT” will remain lit on the display.
- If you want to disconnect from the external Bluetooth speaker or you don’t want to use the Bluetooth Out mode, press and hold the PAIR / BT OUT button to disconnect from any speakers / turn off transmitter.
- If you are having trouble pairing with an external speaker, move the speaker closer to this unit. If pairing is still not successful, please turn OFF both units and try again.
Listening to an External Audio Device (AUX Mode)
Rotate to select “AUX” function. The LED Display will display “AUX”. In AUX (auxiliary) mode, this unit can play audio from an external device (MP3 Player, Portable CD Player, etc.)
There is an AUX IN jack on the front of the unit. When connecting a device that has a headphone jack, use a 3.5mm cable on both ends to connect the external device with the apparatus.
- Plug one end of the 3.5mm cable (not included) into the AUX IN jack.
- Plug the other end of the cable into the headphone jack of the external device.
NOTE: All operations are only available on your external device.
Listening to a Vinyl Record

Rotate to select “PHONO” function. The LED Display will display “PHON”.
-
Gently open the top cover.
Note: Be careful not to pinch your finger when opening/closing the top cover. -
Place a vinyl record on the turntable. When playing a 45 RPM record, use the included adaptor.
-
Select the appropriate speed.
-
Remove the tone arm rest holder to release the tone arm.
-
Gently raise the arm by using the tone arm lever. Move the tone arm to the edge of the record (or the starting point of a track) and lower the arm onto the record using the tone arm lever. The turntable will begin to turn.

When the record reaches its end, tone arm will stop at the center of the record and you must lift and return the tone arm to the tone arm rest manually. Lock the tone arm in the rest holder to protect the tone arm.
Important:
- Closing the top cover will help prevent dust from settling on the turntable.
- Always relock the tone arm clip before transporting the unit.
- Do not place anything on top of the turntable cover, especially while playing a record.
Listening to a Cassette Tape
- Rotate to select “TAPE” function. The LED Display will display “TAPE”. Load an audio cassette tape into the unit (located on the right side of the unit). Playback will automatically begin.
- Press button halfway to Fast Forward the tape. Press button lightly and playback will resume.
- Press button completely down to end playback and eject tape.
Maintenance / Proper Handling
Compact Disc Handling
- Always place the disc on the disc tray with the label side facing upward (compact discs can be played/recorded only on one side)
- To remove a disc from its storage case, press down on the center of the case and lift the disc upward, holding it carefully by its edges.
- To clean a disc, wipe the surface from the center hole outward towards the outer edge with a soft, dry cloth.
- Never use such chemicals as record spray, antistatic sprays or fluid, benzine or thinner to clean discs; they will irreparably damage the disc’s plastic surface.
- Discs should be returned to their cases after use to protect from dust and scratches.
- Do not expose discs to direct sunlight, high humidity, or high temperature for extended periods of time.
- Printable CD-R and CD-RW discs are not recommended, as the label side may become sticky and damage the unit.
- Use a soft oil-based felt-tipped pen to write information on the label side. Never use a ball-point or hard-tipped pen, as doing so may damage the recorded side.
- Do not use irregularly-shaped CDs (octagonal, heart shaped, business card size, etc), as they will damage the unit.
- Read all precautions supplied with any CD-R or CD-RW disc
- Never handle a disc with dirty fingers.
- Never insert a disc that has a crack on the surface.
Handling Vinyl Records
- Do not touch the record’s grooves. Only handle records by the edges or the label with clean hands. Touching the record surface will cause your record’s quality to deteriorate.
- To clean a record, use a soft anti-static cloth to gently wipe the record surface.
- Keep records in their protective sleeves when not in use.
- Always store records upright on their edges
- Avoid placing records in direct sunlight, close to a heat source (radiators, stoves, etc.), or in a location subject to vibration, excessive dust, heat, cold or moisture.
General Care
- When removing the power plug from the wall outlet, always pull directly on the plug. Never pull the cord.
- To keep the laser pickup clean, do not touch it, and do not forget to close the disc tray.
- Do not attempt to clean the unit with chemical solvents as this might damage the finish.
- For cleaning, only use a clean, dry cloth.
- In order to shut off the power to this product completely, unplug the power cord from the wall outlet. Be sure to unplug the unit if you do not intend to use it for an extended period of time.
How to Replace the Turntable Stylus(Replacement Needle # ITNP-LC1)
The stylus should last about 50 hours under normal use. However, it is recommended that the stylus be replaced as soon as you notice a change in sound quality. Prolonged use of a worn-out stylus may damage the record. The highest speed of 78 RPM records would wear out the stylus more quickly
Removing the old stylus:

Set a screwdriver at the tip of the stylus and push downward (A).

Remove the stylus by pulling it simultaneously downward and forward.
Installing a new stylus:
- Hold the front tip of the stylus and insert its rear edge (B) first.
- Push the stylus upwards (C) until the tip locks into place.
Caution:
- Do not bend the stylus.
- Do not touch the needle to avoid injury your hand.
- Turn off the unit’s power before you replace the stylus.
- Keep out of reach of children.

Troubleshooting Guide
GENERAL | Symptom | Possible Cause | Solution |

United States
Victrola (Innovative Technology Electronics, LLC) warrants to the original retail purchaser that this product will be free from defective materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the date of purchase, subject to the limitations below. This warranty period is not extended if we replace the product.
To obtain a replacement under the terms of this warranty, you must contact the dealer from which it was purchased with your original receipt. If assistance from the dealer from which it was purchased is impossible, you may contact our customer service for warranty assistance at victrola.com/contact. Except as limited below, if the product proves defective in either material or workmanship within one (1) year from the date of purchase, Victrola will replace the product at no charge. If the product model is no longer available and cannot be replaced with an identical model, Victrola will issue a merchandise credit for the purchase price to be redeemed at victrola.com.
Limitations:
- This limited warranty does not cover failure of the product arising, in whole or in part, from improper installation, storage, transportation, misuse, abuse, accident, neglect, mishandling, unauthorized repair, modification, or wear from ordinary use or environmental deterioration.
- This limited warranty does not cover cosmetic damage, including paint damage, or consequential damage to other components or premises which may result for any reason from the failure of the product.
- This limited warranty is null and void for products not used in accordance with Victrola’s instructions.
- This limited warranty terminates if the original retail purchaser sells o otherwise transfers this product.
- This limited warranty is null and void for defects or damage caused by installation or repair performed by any person or entity other than a Victrola authorized installer or dealer.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state, jurisdiction to jurisdiction or country to country. All express and implied warranties for the product, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited in time to the term of this warranty. Some states, jurisdictions or countries do not allow the exclusion of certain implied warranties or conditions, or limitations on how long an implied warranty or condition lasts, so this limitation may not apply to you. Victrola’s responsibility for malfunctions and defects in hardware is limited to replacement or repair as set forth in this warranty statement. Victrola does not accept liability for special, punitive, consequential or incidental damages or losses, whether direct or indirect, including without limitation, any liability for third party claims against you for damages or losses or for products not being available for use. The maximum liability for which Victrola may be responsible will be no more than the amount you paid for the product that is the subject of the claim. Some states, jurisdictions or countries do not allow the exclusion or limitation of special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
Canada and US Territories
The Warranty on this product shall comply with applicable law when sold to a
consumer in Canada or a US Territory. To obtain any applicable warranty
service, please contact the dealer from which you purchased the product, or
the distributor that supplied the product, with your original receipt. If
assistance from the dealer from which it was purchased is impossible, you may
contact our customer service for warranty assistance at victrola.com/contact.
If this product proves defective in either material or workmanship, Victrola
will replace the product at no charge. If the product model is no longer
available and cannot be repaired effectively or replaced with an identical
model, Victrola at its sole option may replace the unit with a current model
of equal or greater value.
Outside the U.S, Canada, and US Territories
The Warranty on this product shall comply with applicable law when sold to a
consumer outside of the United States, Canada, and US Territories. To obtain
any applicable warranty service, please contact the dealer from which you
purchased the product, or the distributor that supplied the product, with your
original receipt.
