Warnings
Read this manual carefully and keep for future reference.
All essential test series have been performed and the above product complies
with all legal requirements.
Limitations in intended use or foreseeable misuse.
- Do not disassemble the device. If a repair is required, contact a Techmade sales or service center.
- Do not use the product if it is damaged.
- Handle the product with care. Knocks, blows or falling even from a minimum height could damage it. Do not drop weights or objects on it.
- The balance is a precision instrument. Please treat it with care.
- Only use the scale in a dry environment and do not immerse it in water.
- Clean the surface of the scale with a suitable cloth and a mild detergent. Do not use organic solvents or other chemicals.
- Remove dead batteries immediately to avoid potential leakage and corrosion.
- In case of accidental contact with fats, spices, vinegar and foods with a strong taste or colour, clean immediately. Avoid contact with lemon juice.
- Keep away from heat sources (e.g. radiators or cookers), direct sunlight, excessive humidity, moisture, flammable gases, vapors or solvents.
- This product is not a toy. Keep away from children.

Level of cleanliness
Use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use alcohol or other cleaning solutions as they
can damage the housing or even compromise the functionality of the product. Do
not wash and immerse the product with running water.
Drying
Do not attempt to dry the product using a microwave oven, traditional oven or
a hair dryer. Use a dry cloth.
Batteries
- If the scale is not used for long periods, it is recom- mended to remove the batteries to avoid damage due to possible battery leakage.
- Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
- Do not mix old and new batteries, with different compositions or of different brands to avoid possible leakage and explosion.
- Do not heat, deform or expose the batteries to heat sources.
- Used batteries must not be disposed of with domestic waste.
- Consult your local public service or retailer for advice on how to recycle batteries.
WEEE instructions
The European directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment
(WEEE) requires that these appliances must not be disposed of in the normal
municipal solid waste stream, but that they must be collected separately to
optimize the recovery and recycling flow of the materials compose them and
prevent potential damage to health and the environment due to the presence of
potentially dangerous substances.
The crossed out wheelie bin symbol is featured on all products as a reminder.
Waste can be taken to the appropriate collection centres, or it can be
delivered free of charge to the distributor upon purchase of a new equivalent
piece of equipment or without the obligation to purchase equipment smaller
than 25cm. For further information on the correct disposal of these
appliances, contact the public service in charge.
Instructions

Insert 1 CR2032 battery (not included) into the battery holder. Then pull out the retractable display, the battery holder will be under it. Place the scale on a flat and stable surface.

To turn on the scale, press the “on/tare” button on the scale for a few seconds.

To tare the weight, place the empty container on the scale and after the measurement press the “on/tare” button on the scale. The display will show Og. Fill the container with the desired content.

iMilk (ml / fl’oz) -
By default the balance will be set to the symbol for solids with metric units of measure (g / ml).
- To switch between the various weight modes (solid, water and milk) press the UNIT button once. Repeat the operation until the desired symbol is reached.
- To change the unit of measurement from metric (g / ml) to hyperial (Ib:0z / fl’oz) hold down the UNIT button for a few seconds.
Error code
- The “Lo” symbol on the display indicates that the battery is running low. Please replace with a new battery;
- The “Err” symbol on the display indicates that the scale is overloaded. Please stop using to avoid possible damage to the product.
Remember well
- When inserting the steel bowl inside the container scale, make sure to start from the value of 0g before weighing.
