Installation Steps

Step 1: Install the Cross Bar

1. Flip the controller
2. Insert one side of the Cross Bar into the controller and align the Cross Bar with the fixing hole of the controller
3. Put the M10 Spring Washer and M10 Flat Washer on the M10*25mm Bolts, insert them into the controller and the fixing hole of the Cross Bar, and tighten all the bolts with a wrench
4. Repeat and install the other Cross Bar

Step 2: Install the Vertical Bar

1. The M10 Nylon Washer has been pre-installed on the controller. Check whether the M10 Nylon Washer is securely installed
2. Insert the Vertical Bar into the controller(As shown in the Image 1
3. Align the controller and the fixing hole of Vertical Bar, insert the M10*71mm Bolt through the controller and the fixing hole of Vertical Bar, put the M10 Flat Washer and M10 Self-locking Nut on the tail of the bolts, and tighten them with a wrench.

Step 3: Connect the controller to the base

1. The M10 Nylon Washer is pre-installed on the base. Check whether the M10 Nylon Washer is securely installed
2. Insert the Part A into the positioning hole of the base, pass the M10*103mm bolts through the fixing holes on the base and controller. put the M10 Flat Washer and M10 Self-locking Nut on the bolt tail in turn, and tighten the bolts with a wrench until the controller does not wobble from side to side in the base

Step 4: Install the Footrest and Pressure Bar
Open the Speed Handle of the Footrest and install them in sequence:

1. Pass through the left Cross Bar
2. Pass through the right Cross Bar
3. Pass through the left Cross Bar.
4. Pass through the right Cross Bar

Step 5 Attach the E-Bike Car Rack to the car

1. Insert the base connection section into the car hitches and align the base with the fixing holes of hitches
2. Put the M12 Spring Washer and M12 Flat Washer on the M12°100mm Bolt and tighten them with a wrench untile the rack is completely secure
3. Put a lock on the tail of the bolt to lock the E-Bike Car Rack in case it’s stolen

Step 6:

Place the E-BIKE or bicycle on the E-Bike Car Rack, open the Speed Handle of the Pressure Bar, pass through the Vertical Bar as shown in the image, firrnly press the Pressure Bar to the vehicle, and fasten the Speed Handle to lock the vehicle
Step 7:

Attach the Velcro strap securely to each tire, and then the installation is done.
Well Note: E bike rack has a bit different installation steps with metal and aluminum version but not effect installation.
