Introduction
Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to Philips! To fully benefit from the support that Philips offers, register your product at www.philips.com/welcome. Read this user manual, the important information leaflet, and the quick start guide carefully before you use the appliance. Save them for future reference.
Using the appliance
Make sure you smooth out the garment on a flat surface. Do not press the appliance onto the garment too hard. Do not use the appliance on embroideries, zips, buttons and loose threads.
- Attach the USB cable to the appliance and a power source (i.e. laptop). Charge the device for 6 hours for a full charge.
- For garments with short lint, remove the protective cover at the bottom of the appliance. For garments with longer lint, attach the protective cover at the bottom of the appliance.
- Press the power button , and the power button will light up indicating the power is on.
- Place the appliance on the garment and gently move it across the area with lint.
- Once done, press the power button , and the power button light will go off, indicating power is off.
- With the protective cover removed, turn anti-clockwise to unscrew and remove the lid.
- Hold the appliance upside down, and gently pull open and empty the lint onto the cover. Upon collecting the lint on the cover, pour it into a bin.
- Ensure you do not hold onto/ touch the blades and avoid pressing the power button . Gently pull up and remove the blades.
- Using the brush provided, brush and clean the blades and the inner lid to remove any lint remains.
- Brush the appliance as well to remove any lint remains.
- Ensure you do not hold onto/ touch the blades and avoid pressing the power button . Attach the blades onto the appliance.
- Attach and screw the lid back onto the appliance.
