Quick start
How to record?
Press and hold the Power on/Recording for 3 seconds to start the product.
After the indicator light flashes, the blue light will stay on and the product
is in the standby state; at this time, short press Power on/Recording again.
The indicator light flashes 3 times and then goes out and the product is then
in the recording state.
During the recording process, short press the Power on/Recording again, the red light flashes once and then turns to a constantly illuminated blue light, that is, the recording is successfully saved; press and hold Power on/Recording for 3 seconds and then shut down.
How to copy recording files?
Connect the accompanied data cable to the computer’s USB interface, then the
computer will pop up a removable disk, open the disk to find the RECORD folder
inside, copy the audio files in WAV format to the computer, and complete the
copying of recording files; then use a music player to open the recording file
for playback, and Windows Media Player is recommended.
Status Indicator
- Standby: The blue indicator light is on during standby.
- Recording: During recording, the red indicator light flashes three times and goes out, accompanied with the blue light OFF.
- Play: The blue indicator light flashes slowly in the playing state.
- Power reminder :
- The red and blue lights flash to indicate the electric quantity of the machine;
- The red and blue lights flash once to indicate the battery electricity less than 25%
- The red and blue lights flash twice to indicate the battery electricity of 50%
- The red and blue light flashes 3 times to indicate the battery electricity of 75%
- The red and blue light flashes 4 times to indicate the battery electricity of 100%
Note : When the battery has low electricity, the red and blue indicator lights will flicker 10 times and then the product will automatically shut down.
Basic function
- Power on: Press and hold the Recording button for 3 seconds and then power on. After power on, the red and blue lights will indicate the electric quantity, accompanied with the blue indicator constantly ON, the product then will enters the standby mode. The red and blue lights will flash 3 times if no operation within 5 minutes, and then the product will automatically shut down.
- One-key recording: In standby mode, short press the “Recording” button, the blue light will go out, and the red light will flash three times. After the red light goes out, recording starts. During recording, the recording file will be automatically saved according to the part setting in the text file (please refer to the settings of recording parameter). The recording file is named by time, for example, R20210421-020641.WAV or V20210421-020641 .WAV. The character R stands for ordinary recording, while V the voice-activated recording.
- Save recording: short press “Recording” during the recording process, the red indicator light flashes once and then goes out, indicating that the recording is saved successfully, and the product will enter the standby mode with the blue indicator light constantly on.
- Power off: Press and hold “Recording” for more than 2 seconds in any state, or during recording, press and hold “Recording” for more than 2 seconds to save the recording file, and then turn off the product after the red and blue lights flash 3 times. Voice/Music mode switching and playback After the product is turned on or the recording is saved, the blue light is on and the product is in the voice mode by default. To play the current recording or listen to MP3 songs, you can link to the wired earphone.
Play
First connect the product to the USB and earphone adapter cable, connect and
plug in the wire-controlled earphone, and the product will immediately enter
the playback mode, accompanied with the blue light flashing slowly; if the
earphones are not plugged in, the product will enter the recording state
first, and when the wire-controller earphone is connected, the product starts
to play the currently saved recording file. Short press the “Play” button
again to pause playing.
Switching over music
In the playback state, you can long press the Play button on the wire-
controlled earphone to switch between playing music and playing recording
files, and then short press the Play button to start looping the songs or
recording files in the product.
Note : The music files need to be saved in the root directory of the T
card.
Volume +/-
In the playing state, long press the button “-” or “+” to increase or reduce
volume.
Previous/Next
With short press on “Previous/Next” on the earphone, switch the previous and
next song on the playlist. Charging: In the standby state, plug in the
charger, the red indicator light is normally on during charging, and the blue
indicator light is on when the product is fully charged.
Setting of Recording Parameter
After connecting to a computer, open the removable disk, as shown below, to
find and open the TXT file named “MRECSET” by double-click, and set the
recording parameters, including the time (TIME), voice control (VOR), bit rate
(BIT), gain (GAIN), recording time part (PART).
- Time setting: A number in the format of “ ” will appear in the file. Set the time and date manually according to the format of the file, or select the content after the colon and refresh quickly using F5 (only applicable for operating systems above WIN10), then the time setting is completed.
- VOR setting: The default voice number 0 means that there is no voice control recording. The voice control level provides 1-7 numerical options, beyond which it is invalid. If there is no sound from the outside, the recording will be paused. If any outside sound is detected, the recording will be restarted. The larger the number, the smaller the decibel of sound detection and the more sensitive the sound control will be.
- BIT setting: 1-4 corresponds to 32kbps, 64kbps, 128kbps, 192kbps respectively, and it is 4, 192kbps, by default.
- GAIN setting: 1-7 are optional; the larger the number, the greater the sensitivity of the microphone, and the louder the recording sound. It is 7 by default.
- Recording time PART setting: In order to prevent the failure to save recording files under emergency, users can set the safest recording segmentation by themselves during long-term recording, which can be set at any time frame from 10 minutes to 240 minutes.
Removable disk (upload/download)
- Align the interface of the recorder with the socked head of USB or the golden finger of the computer USB connector and insert it (as shown in the figure below).
- When a removable disk is inserted into the USB port of PC in any cases, except for upgrading and recording, the system will immediately suspend the current operation, connect to the PC, and the disk operation is allowed when a symbol of removable disk drive appears in the operating system.
- Upload/download: When a removable hard disk is detected, you need to upload/download MP3/WAV or files or other files.

Suggestion : Copy and paste in a removable disk.
Note: After copying a song, please click the green arrow in the lower right corner of the computer, and select Safely Eject Removable Disk and then pull out the recorder.
