FAQ
Why there is no video output?
Check the input and output device connections, HDMI cable, and ensure a standard HDMI cable is used.
Why there is no audio output from HDMI port?
Verify that the monitor supports audio output and set it as the default audio device.
My computer's video format is different from the promoted one.
Check if your computer supports DP1.4 for the desired video format.
The connected device doesn't work or laptop shuts down.
Connect a PD charger to handle power consumption issues.
Wireless mouse or keyboard connectivity issues.
Use a USB 2.0 extension cable between the hub and receiver to minimize interference for wireless devices.
Why there is no video output?
Pls check the input and output device connection is alright , the HDMI cable is alright and the HDMI cable connection is alright. Pls use standard HDMI cable.
Why there is no audio output from HDMI port?
Pls make sure that there is audio output function on the monitor. Pls set the external monitor as default audio output device.
The video format is 4K@60Hz as promoted, but why does my computer video format is ONLY 4K@30Hz in practice?
Pls check whether your computer supports DP1.4 or not, if yes, its video format is 4K@60Hz(Max.), If the computer ONLY supports DP1.2, its video format is 4K@30Hz in real use.
The device I connect didn`t work, Or the laptop suddenly shuts down.
Pls connect the PD charger because connected devices consume too much power.
When connecting a wireless mouse or keyboard, it may not work properly?
Pls add a USB 2.0 extension cable between the hub and the receiver. Because most wireless device like mouse, keyboard, and Bluetooth device work in the 2.4 Ghz wireless band. USB 3.0 port has potential for interference that can affect the device’ s performance.
Note:
- The above video specifications as described are the maximum output specifications that can be reached when ONLY one of the video ports is working. The actual output specification depends on the GPU. Generally, the output specification of DP Alt Mode1.4 is higher than that of DP alt Mode1.2.
- With Windows system, if multi-video port for simultaneous use, its real display will be lower than the maximum display as described due to the limitation of video bandwidth.
- MacOS c an ONLY extend one monitor, and others external monitors just mirror the first one owing to the limitation of MacOS itself.
