General Description
FC-SP-600A is a small, compact automatic pump lift station suitable for
pumping waste water to a nearby sewer where waste water cannot be led directly
to the sewer by means of a natural down-ward slopesuch as a basement or off
grid dwellings. It is using a unique designand pa- tented technologies to
improve the reliability and durability.
1.1Applications
The FC-SP-600A is typically used for toilets, showers, and sinks located in
base-ments below sewer level or those installed during renovations or
remodifications where a natural plumbing slope cannot be established
It is only suitable for pumping wastewater from sinks or showers and sewage
water from a toilet that contains toilet paper and feces. Pump- ing other
materials may void the warranty.
1.2Acceptable pumped liquids
The FC-SP-600A is designed to pump waste water from sinks or showers and
sewage water from a toilet that contains toilet paper and feces. It can also
pump ordinary liquids used to clean the connected units. The liquid
temperature should not exceed 45°C, while the pH value range should be between
4 to 10.
Important note:
Do not use the FC-SP-600A to pump strong chemicals or solvents or any objects
other than waste water and feces from the sink or toilet. This includes
plastic, cardboard, sanitary towels, diapers, hair, tampons metal objects
(such as clips and hair pins), stones, building materials floor cloths, and
condoms.
Product Description
The FC-SP-600A tank is made from lightweight plastic material with an easy-to- clean surface. When installed correctly, it is almost maintenance -free The tank has two connections in addition to the toilet connection A cutter system is in place to chop up any objects that enter the tank through the toilet connection. The FC-SP-600A is equipped with a water level switch for automatic start and stop of the pump. Please refer to Section 7 Technical Data for start and stop levels. The connecting cable is a 1.2 m HO5VV-F3G 0.75 mm2 cable with a plug The tank is vented through a carbon filter in the vent valve located in the top cover. If necessary, it can be connected to a vent pipe through the vent hole by drilling a hole on the cover of the vent valve to exhaust to the outdoors. The FC-SP-600A has a net weight of 6.5 kg and a gross weight of 7.5 kg

Installation
The installation must comply with local regulations and directives.
FC-SP-600A should be installed in the same room as the unit(sink, toilet) it
will be connected to.
3.1 Electrical installation
The electrical installation must be carried out only by qualified personnel.
FC-SP-600A must be connected to a power supply according to the nameplate.
Caution: The ins tallation must include a grounding circuit breaker to protect
against fault currents. This ensures safety when using a plug with a properly
grounded connection. The pump station must comply with regulations and be
protected against water splashes or submersion.
3.1.1 Wiring diagram see Fig.4
3.1.2 Motor protection
Caution: In case of overheating, a thermal overload switch turns off the motor
and turns it back on when the motor has cooled sufficiently.
3.2 Mechanical installation
The floor fitting D must be attached to the unit and the floor to prevent the
case from lifting up if the room is flooded. FC-SP-600A should be installed
with adequate access.

3.2.2 Pipework
According to the diagram below, the maximum length for vertical and horizontal
discharge pipes is displayed. It is highly recommended that the first portion
of the discharge pipe is placed vertically. It is imperative that all
horizontal pipes have a certain grade as follows. The discharge pipe should
have a maximum grade of 1%, while the inlet pipe should have a maximum grade
of 3%. If the discharge pipe exceeds 10 meters in length, use a larger pipe
size after the initial 10 meters. For instance, utilize a 28mm diameter pipe
for the first 10 meters and then switch to a 32mm diameter pipe.
See Fig.6
It is recommended to hire a licensed plumber for the installation of this
product. In the event of any damages to the appliance or its supply cord,
repair services should be carried out only by the manufacturer, its service
agent, or a competent professional. NO REMODIFICATIONS
Ensure that the discharge pipe passes over the back-flow lever (main sewer
level). All pipework from this point must be composed of at least 40mm pipe
sizes.
3.2.3 Siphoning
If the sewer connection is located below the bottom of the FC-SP-600A, it is
recommended to install a vent valve to prevent siphoning.
If the final section of a horizontal discharge pipe is followed by a vertical
pipe, it should be two sizes larger than the horizontal pipe.
3.2.4 Connection to toilet
For a toilet with a horizontal outlet according to EN 33 or EN 37, FC-SP- 600A
should be utilized. The toilet must use a minimum of 6 liters per flush.
Gently push the pump unit against the back of the toilet with the inlet facing
the discharge pipe. Next, pull the connection sleeve over the toilet discharge
pipe so that the pipe is covered. Ensure that clip C is fitted correctly and
that the sleeve is in the right position. Other drainage items (such as sink,
bidet, or shower) should be connected to the additional inlets on both sides
of FC-SP-600A with a ¢40mm PVC pipe sleeve B and clip C. The additional side
inlets (DN 40) must be above the highest possible water level (180mm). Thus,
the shower basin’s construction level (base) must
lie at least 180mm higher than the FC-SP-600A’s construction level. If both
side inlets are not connected, please plug them to seal them. First, lubricate
the grease on the seal rings of plugs, then align the mark on the end face of
the plug to the mark. To avoid excessive noise, place FC-SP -600A 10mm away
from the wall and on a vibration-dampening base.
3.2.5 Connection of discharges pipe
The discharge pipe must be made of a material suitable for raw sewage with the
proper diameter. The one-way valve in the tank prevents backflow from the
discharge pipe. Use a minimum of a 25mm discharge pipe accord- ing to EN
12050-3 and fit the discharge elbow A with clip B. Adapt the discharge pipe,
and if necessary, use reducer E. To aid in case of repair of the discharge
pipe, it is advisable to fit a ball valve at the bottom of the vertical pipe
section.
Start-up
- Verify that the installation is correct.
- Connect the power supply and ensure that the circuit breaker for that outlet is switched on.
- Ensure that all pipes and connections are securely attached.
- Activate the toilet flush and check that the pump starts and stops correctly.
If the pump starts, the FC-SP-600A is ready for use.
If the pump does not start, avoid flushing the toilet again. Recheck the installation and verify that it is correct.
Note: Do not use the toilet until the FC-SP-600A has been correctly connected.
Maintenance
The FC-SP-600A requires minimal maintenance. Regular use and clean- ing will
ensure reliable operation and a long service life.
To prevent unnecessary pumping, verify that the toilet tank and all water taps
are securely attached.
5.1 Clean
The FC-SP-600A is normally kept clean through regular toilet flushing.
For systems that are used infrequently, an occasional internal cleaning is
recommended, which can be performed as follows:
- Disconnect the unit or turn off the power source.
- Add detergent to the toilet bowl and flush.
- Allow the detergent to work for approximately five minutes.
- Reconnect the unit or turn on the electricity supply and flush the toilet.
- Once the FC-SP-600A has finished pumping, flush once more.
5.2 Periods of non-use
If the FC-SP-600A will not be used for an extended period, it is recom- mended
to flush twice with clean water and turn off the water supply to all connected
units.
5.3 Frost protection
If there is a risk of frost, such as in a weekend cottage during the winter,
it is advisable to make this pump station frost-proof. Empty the tank as
described in the section on periods of non-use or add antifreeze.
