WARNINGS AND CAUTIONS

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using the massage seat topper, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following.

CAUTION

There are no serviceable parts inside.

  • To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this unit to rain or moisture.

The lightning flash with arrow-head symbol within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated ‘dangerous voltage’ within the unit’s enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock.

Caution, indicating the need for the user to consult the instructions for use for important cautionary information such as warnings and precautions.

DANGER

To reduce the risk of electric shock:

  1. Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet immediately after use and before cleaning.
  2. Never use pins or other metallic fasteners with this appliance.
  3. Keep dry – Do not operate in a water or moist condition.

WARNING

To reduce the risk of electric shock, burns, fire or injury:

  1. This unit should never be left unattended when plugged in. Unplug from an outlet when not in use, and before putting on or taking off parts.
  2. The power cord of the unit should be unplugged from the outlet when left unused for long periods of time.
  3. Power supply cords should be routed so that they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed on or against them, paying particular attention to cords at plugs, convenience receptacles and the point where they exit from the unit.
  4. Do not operate under a blanket or pillow. Excessive heating can occur and cause a fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
  5. This product is not intended for self-treatment of conditions that should be managed by a qualified healthcare provider.
  6. Do not use the product if you are not feeling well.
  7. The unit is designed as a non-professional massager to soothe tired and aching muscles. It is not intended to be a substitute for medical attention. If your ailments and symptoms persist or worsen after use, contact your physician immediately.
  8. IMPORTANT: Any individual who may be pregnant or recently gave birth, has a heart condition or a pacemaker, suffers from diabetes or other sensory impairment, phlebitis and/or thrombosis, joint dysfunction, inflammation or injuries, weak bones, osteoporosis, a high fever, an abnormal or curved spine, is at an increased risk of developing blood clots, has pins/screws/artificial joints or other medical devices implanted in his/her body, is being treated for a medical condition or physical injury or is under a doctor’s care should consult with a medical professional before using a massaging device designed for home use.
  9. Do not use while sleeping or if you feel drowsy.
  10. Never use with swollen or inflamed feet or if feet have any skin eruptions.
  11. Do not use on insensitive skin or on a person with poor blood circulation.
  12. Stop operation immediately if you experience any discomfort.
  13. This unit has a hot surface. Those who are sensitive to heat must be careful when using the unit.
  14. Do not use the unit in combination with other therapeutic equipment or electric blanket, etc., as this may result in ineffectiveness or injury.
  15. Use this unit only for its intended use as described in these instructions. Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
  16. Do not operate after taking pain killers, sedatives or alcohol.
  17. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product.
  18. The product is not intended for use by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product by a person responsible for their safety.
  19. Do not carry this unit by its supply cord or use the cord as a handle.
  20. The unit should be situated away from heat sources, such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other appliances (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
  21. Never operate the unit with the air openings blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair and the like.
  22. Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
  23. Never operate this unit if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been dropped or damaged, or dropped into water.
  24. Do not use outdoors.
  25. To disconnect, turn all controls off, then remove the plug from the outlet.
  26. Do not operate where aerosol products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
  27. Do not stand up in the unit. Place feet in the unit and remove them from unit while in a seated position.
  28. Do not reach for unit if it has been submerged in water. Unplug it immediately.
  29. Do not apply excessive force when using any switches or controls.
  30. The unit should be connected to a power supply only of the type described in the operating instructions or as marked on the unit.
  31. Precautions should be taken so that the grounding or polarization means of the unit are not defeated.
  32. The user should not attempt to service the unit beyond that described in the operating instructions.
  33. The unit should be cleaned only as recommended in the instructions.
  34. Do not attempt to clean the unit with a chemical solvent as this might damage the finish. Use a clean, slightly wet cloth.
  35. Keep the cord away from a heated surface.

In a double-insulated product, two systems of insulation are provided instead of grounding. No grounding means is provided on a double-insulated product, nor should a means for grounding be added to the product. Servicing a double- insulated product requires extreme care and knowledge of the system, and should be done only by qualified service personnel. Replacement parts for a double-insulated product must be identical to the parts they replace. A double-insulated product is marked with the words ‘DOUBLE INSULATION’ or ‘DOUBLE INSULATED’. The symbol may also be marked on the product.

PRODUCT SAFE KEEPING AND MAINTENANCE

a) Storage

  • Please store it in the packing carton, and put it in a safe, dry, well-ventilated, and shaded place.
  • Do not twist the power plug.
  • Do not hang the power wire and pull the product.
  • Avoid sharp items from destroying the surface of the product.
  • Please don’t store the machine under direct sunlight or in places of high temperature.

b) Clean

  • Before cleaning make sure that the power cord is unplugged from the electrical outlet and that the machine is completely cool.
  • Use a damp cloth to clean the product. Ensure the product is completely dry before reuse.
  • The detachable fabric cloth can be washed in a normal washing way.
    NOTE: Make sure not to use benzene or thinner and other corrosive detergents to clean the product.

c) Maintenance

  • Keep the product clean and store in a dry environment.
  • When the product is not in use for a long time, please put a dustproof cover on the product.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If you meet the following problems, please referring to the following solutions. If the product is still malfunctioning or does not work, please send the product to our service center or an authorized technician for the necessary checks and repair.
