• Keep the fridge out of the heat and direct sunlight.
• Keep in a dry place to avoid leaks or electric shock.
• Do not put any electrical devices inside the fridge.
• Do not get the fridge wet or expose it to the rain.
• Do not turn the fridge upside-down to drain it.
• Do not block vents on the fridge.
• Do not allow children to play on or in the fridge.
• Do not use the fridge if you notice smoke, overheating or leaks, etc.
• Use a wet cloth to clean your fridge before use.
• Make sure the voltage is within the proper range for the socket and cable being used.
• The fridge should be unpacked and stand still for more than 6 hours before switching on the power.-
• Keep the refrigerator horizontal when it is on.
• Set the fridge up with room for ventilation (at least 200 mm at the back and 100 mm at the side).
• Please contact Goal Zero for maintenance if your fridge malfunctions.

Getting Started

1. Plug your fridge into your Yeti Power station or vehicle’s 12 V port.
2. Press the power button to turn the fridge on.
3. Press the plus and minus buttons to adjust the temperature.

NOTE : Keep the fridge out of the heat and direct sunlight for most efficient performance.

USING YOUR ALTA PORTABLE FRIDGE WITH THE GOAL ZERO APP*

1. Download the Goal Zero app from your app store.
2. Follow the instructions in the app to adjust settings.

*NOTE: Goal Zero app will be enabled for the Alta portable fridge/freezer by January 2024.

NOTE : If two power sources are plugged in at the same time, the fridge will default to the power source input closest to the control panel.

Settings & Functions

• Power Source: Connected with 12/24 V DC or AC 100/240 V

• Power On/Off: Press to turn the unit on/off
  Temperature Setting: Press until the number on the control panel begins flashing. Then use the same buttons to adjust the temperature.

  • Short Press: Adjust one degree at a time
  • Long Press: Quickly adjust to desired temperature

Three seconds after the button has been released the temperature will be set.
(Note: The temperature displayed is the current temperature inside the fridge and the number will change as the fridge adjusts to the new temperature you selected).

Cooling Mode Control: Press to select cooling mode. Use ECO mode for  enhanced efficiency.
Battery Protection Mode: Press to cycle through settings. You can select Low, Medium, or High mode. The default setting is High. Use this mode when the fridge is plugged into your vehicle’s 12 V port. The fridge will still work when the vehicle’s engine is off. If the fridge is powered by a Yeti 200X or 500X power station, we recommend setting it to Low protection mode. If you see the F1 error message, it means you need to adjust the mode from High to Medium or Low.

CAUTION : This will drain your vehicle’s battery and could prevent your vehicle from starting.

• Internal Light: Press to turn on the internal light. This light will automatically turn  off after three minutes.
• Temperature Unit Selection : Press to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius.

Cleaning & Storage

CLEANING

1. Unplug the fridge before cleaning.
2. Remove the drain plug to drain any remaining liquid.
3. Use a damp cloth to clean the fridge interior and exterior occasionally.
4. Never clean the fridge under running water or in dish water.
5. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or hard objects during cleaning as these can damage the fridge’s interior.
6. Make sure that the air inlet and outlet vents on the fridge are free of any dust and dirt, so that heat can be released and the fridge is not damaged.

LONG-TERM STORAGE

1. Turn off the power and unplug the power cable.
2. Remove the items stored in the refrigerator.
3. Absorb all the water in the fridge with a dry cloth.
4. Place the fridge upright in a cool dry place.

Frequently Asked Questions

• Why isn’t the refrigerator working?
  Possible reasons:

  • Malfunctioning power supply
  • The plug and socket are not connected well
  • The fuse has been blown
  • The fridge is not on

• Why is food frozen?
  The fridge can be used as a freezer if you have the temperature set low enough. If you don’t want to use the freezer function, raise the temperature.

  • Recommended temperature setting for Fridge: 35° F
  • Recommended temperature setting for Freezer: 0° F

• Why do I hear a flowing water sound inside the refrigerator?
  This is the sound of the refrigerant or the compressor and is normal.

• Why are there water drops around the refrigerator casing or door gap?
  This is condensation and is not a cause for concern.
