ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
FOR VANITY TOP & UNDERMOUNT BOWL**
VKITKAT60BKBGR Katara 60 Inch Free Standing
CAUTION: Risk of personal injury. Handle with care. Product can break,
chip, or cause injury if mishanded.
NOTE: If you are unsure of assembling and installing the vanity top and
bowl, Hardware Resources recommends that you seek an installation
professional.
TOOLS & SUPPLIES NEEDED:
- Bath & Tile Silicone Sealant
- Screwdriver
- Pencil

Prepare
a. Carefully place the vanity top POLISHED side down on a soft smooth surface to prevent scratching or scuffing.
b. Clean the under side of the vanity top with a damp towel to remove any debris to ensure a secure seal to the bowl.
c. Allow time for the vanity top to dry before proceeding to Step 2. -
Draw a Template a. Place the bowl on the exposed surface of the vanity top and center it between the anchor holes.
b. Situate the bowl so that the overflow hole is facing the front of the vanity top (opposite from the plumbing holes).
c. Using the pencil, trace around the entire edge of the bowl.
d. Once the template is completed, carefully remove the bowl. -
Apply Silicone
a. Apply a generous bead of Bath & Tile silicone around the entire template between the drawn line and the bowl cutout.
b. Carefully and quickly place bowl back onto the vanity top using the drawn template as a guide.
c. Again, situate the bowl so that the overflow hole is facing the front of the vanity top (opposite from the plumbing holes). -
Attach Brackets a. Place brackets over the anchor holes in the vanity top and tighten with the provided screws.
Note: Hardware Resources vanity bowls include anchor kits and screws.
These Jeffrey Alexander vanity tops are pre anchored and will not require the additional set of anchor pieces. Only the brackets and screws will be used. -
Final Silicone Application a. Allow time for silicone to dry, following silicone manufacturer instructions.
b. Once the silicone is dry, apply another bead of silicone around the outer edge of the bowl where it meets the vanity top. This will help prevent excess moisture by creating a seal.
c. Wipe away excess silicone to create a smooth seal.
d. Allow time for additional silicone to dry, following silicone manufacturer instructions. -
Attach the assembled top & bowl to the vanity base a. Apply a generous bead of silicone around the entire top edge of the vanity base.
b. Carefully place the top onto the vanity base.
i. The back of the vanity top should be flush with the back of the vanity.
ii. Situate the vanity top so that there is equal overhang on each side of the vanity (approximately ½” on either side).
c. Allow time for silicone to dry, following silicone manufacturer instructions.
d. Move the vanity to it’s final location against the wall. -
Install the Backsplash
a. Clean the the underside of the backsplash thoroughly to remove any debris to ensure a secure hold to the vanity.
b. Apply a generous amount of silicone to the unfinished back of the backsplash.
c. Apply a ¼” bead of silicone to the vanity top where the backsplash will be placed.
d. Carefully align the backsplash to the vanity top, then firmly secure in place against the vanity top and wall.
e. Allow time for silicone to dry, following silicone manufacturer instructions.
f. Once the vanity and backsplash are situated in the final location, add, add a final bead of silicone around the edge of the backsplash and wall for a secure seal. Smooth the silicone for a finished look. -
**Install the Sidesplash***
a. Clean the the underside of the sidesplash thoroughly to ensure a secure hold to the vanity.
b. Apply a generous amount of silicone to the unfinished back of the sidesplash.
c. Apply a ¼” bead of silicone to the vanity top where the sidesplash will be placed.
d. Carefully align the sideplash to the vanity top, then firmly secure in place against the vanity top and wall.
e. Allow time for silicone to dry, following silicone manufacturer instructions.
f. Once sidesplash is situated, add a final bead of silicone around the edge of the backsplash and wall for a secure seal. Smooth the silicone for a finished look.
*Sidesplash is sold separately.
