BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Read fully through to the end of the instructions before beginning the projects. Make sure you follow each step. Have fun!
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Scissors
- Adhesive tape
- Craft glue
- Clear nail polish
DISSOLVABLE POUCHES
Fill the cereal bowl with warm water.
Submerge the pouch in warm water until dissolved. Use the spoon if needed.
Remove the polybags from the water and rinse before opening.
Tear open the polybags to reveal contents.
BEADED CHAIN BRACELET
Insert the clear elastic cord through the first link. Make a double knot to attach the clear elastic cord to the chain bracelet
Secure the knot by covering it with a drop of craft glue or clear nail polish. Allow 5 minutes to dry, then cut off the excess length of cord after the knot.
Weave the clear elastic cord through the chain links, adding one bead on each link.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 to finish the chain bracelet.
BEAD BRACELET
Measure and cut 30 cm (12 in) of clear elastic cord.
Attach the cord to your working surface with a piece of adhesive tape.
Thread the beads onto the cord following the sequence shown.
Make a jeweler’s knot. To make a jeweler’s knot, start by making a simple knot and add a second loop. Pass the elastic through the second loop two more times to create a double wrap.
Secure the knot by covering it with a drop of craft glue or clear nail polish. Allow 5 minutes to dry, then cut off the excess length of cord after the knot.
Repeat steps 1 to 5 to make 2 more beaded bracelets following the patterns below.
TIP
Before wearing the bracelets, gently pull on them to make sure they are
well secured!
