SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Important! To minimize the risk of fire, electric shock or injury: l Carefully read this instruction before using the appliance.

  • The appliance becomes hot during operation. When turned off some parts may still be hot for some time.
  • Children do not realize the dangers that can arise when using electrical appliances; therefore keep the appliance out of reach of children.
  • Do not immerse the pitcher or its base in water or other liquids. Immersing in water may cause an electric shock.
  •  If water spills on the external components of the appliance, dry it thoroughly before switching back on. l Do not touch wet surfaces in contact with the appliance connected to power supply, immediately disconnect it from the mains.
  • Do not use the appliance if it shows any signs of damage to the power cord, or if the appliance has been dropped on the floor.
  • After use, always pull out the plug from the socket, and also in case of any malfunction, before cleaning or before changing accessories.
  •  When pulling out the plug from the wall outlet, never pull by the cord, only the plug, holding the socket with your other hand.
  • The milk frother is a class I electrical shock protection appliance, and therefore power outlet to which it is connected to must be equipped with grounding pin.
  • Do not attempt to remove any parts of the housing.
  • To prevent damage to the power cord, do not place it over sharp edges or close to hot surfaces.
  • Do not expose the appliance to rain or humidity, and do not use it outdoors. Do not operate the appliance with wet hands.
  • If the power cord or plug is damaged, it should be replaced by a professional repair shop in order to avoid hazard.
  • Using attachments that were not supplied with the product may cause damage to the appliance.
  • Never place the appliance on hot surfaces.
  • Never leave the appliance connected to the mains without supervision.
  • The appliance is designed for heating and frothing milk — do not use it for any other purpose.
  • Never fill the pitcher below the minimum and above the maximum mark.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with physical, mental or sensory handicaps, or by persons inexperienced or unfamiliar with the appliance, unless under supervision or in accordance with the instructions as communicated to them by persons responsible for their safety. Children shall not play with the appliance.
  • This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and older or by persons with physical, mental or sensory handicaps, or by those who are inexperienced or unfamiliar with the appliance, provided they are supervised or have been instructed how to safely use the appliance and are familiar with risks associated with the use of the appliance.
  • Ensure that children do not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance of the appliance should not be performed by children unless they are 8 years or older and are supervised by a competent person.
  • Keep the appliance away from children under 8 years of age when it is hot or not completely cooled down.
  • Unplug the appliance from the power outlet and wait until it cools down before cleaning.
  • Never plug to a wall outlet with wet hands, this may cause electric shock.
  • It is not recommended to use extension cords to connect the appliance to the power outlet.
  • The surface on which the appliance is used shall be level, clean and dry.
  • Take caution when cleaning the attachments
  • Pull the plug from the wall outlet before replacing accessories.
  • Always use the appliance with the base and lid in place.
  • Before use, check that the lid is securely attached.
  • When you take the pitcher off the base ensure 3 seconds elapse before you place it back or previously set function may continue.
  • Before you put the plug into the wall outlet, make sure your hands are dry.
  • Do not use the appliance without properly secured attachments.
  • After use, disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
  • Do not remove the lid during appliance operation. Wait until the frothing wand stops completely before you open the lid. Otherwise, the appliance will not operate properly and may be damaged. Electrical requirements Make sure that the voltage indicated on the nameplate corresponds to that of your home electrical mains. Alternating current must be used, typically marked ~.

DISPOSING/SCRAPPING OF USED EQUIPMENT
During transportation, protective packaging was used to protect the appliance against any damage. After unpacking, please dispose of all elements of packaging in a way that will not cause damage to the environment. All materials used for packaging the appliance are environmentally friendly; they are 100% recyclable and are marked with the appropriate symbol. Important! Packaging materials (bags, polyethylene, polystyrene, etc.) should be kept away from children during unpacking.

DISPOSAL OF OLD APPLIANCE
In accordance with European Directive 2012/19/EU and local legislation regarding used electrical and electronic goods, this appliance is marked with the symbol of the crossedout waste container. This marking indicates that the appliance must not be disposed of together with other household waste after it has been used. The user is obliged to hand it over to waste collection centre collecting used electrical and electronic goods. The collectors, including local collection points, shops and local authority departments provide recycling schemes. Proper handling of used electrical and electronic goods helps avoid environmental and health hazards resulting from the presence of dangerous components and the inappropriate storage and processing of such goods.

OPERATION

Use the appliance to:

  • Frothing milk;
  • Heating milk;
  • Frothing and heating milk.

Before first use:

  • Before using your milk frother, clean all the parts according to the section “CLEANING AND MAIN-TENANCE”.
  • The mixing paddle is equipped with frothing ring, the frothing ring is used for frothing milk during heat-ing or is used for frothing separately, but no heating. The mixing paddle is used for mixing milk during heating to prevent from sticking

NOTE : the max capacity of the jug is 800ml.

Frothing

  1. Place the appliance on a flat surface.

  2. Fill the jug with the desired amount of milk, and replace the lid.
    NOTE: the max milk quantity permitted to add is 150ml, to avoid milk overflowing after frothing.

  3. Place the jug on the power base and connect the plug into a power outlet,all of the indicator will illu-minated white.

  4. Press the froth button once, the corresponding indicator will illuminated white and flash, the mixing paddle and frothing ring will rotate for frothing milk separately, but the heating element will not heat. And the appliance will automatically stop rotating after operating.
    Note: During operation, you can stop operating by pressing the froth button.

  5.  When the appliance has stopped operating, open the lid, pour out the frothed milk and enjoy it.
    Caution: Minimum 3 minutes rest time must be maintained between two continuous cycles, otherwise, the appliance will enter self-protection state automatically after working for 5 cycles continuously, the indicator will be illuminated red and flash, after about 10 minutes, the appliance will enter standby state and you can continue operating the appliance.

  6.  Always disconnect the power supply when not use.
    NOTE : During operation, please don’t open the lid. If you press the work button before replacing the lid, the unit can’t blend.

Heating

  1. Place the appliance on a flat surface.

  2. Open the lid and take out the frothing ring from mixing paddle.

  3. Fill the jug with the desired amount of milk, and replace the lid.
    NOTE: the max milk quantity permitted to add is 250ml, to avoid milk overflowing after heating.

  4. Press the heat button once, the corresponding indicator will illuminated white and flash, Then the ap-pliance will start to work. Once the temperature of milk has achieved about 70±10°C, the heating element will stop heating and the mixing paddle will stop rotating automatically.

  5.  Place the jug on the power base and connect the plug into a power outlet,,all of the indicator will illu-minated white.
    Note: During operation, you can stop operating by pressing the heat button once.
    Note: The rotation of mixing paddle is only used for avoiding sticking. It will not froth the milk.

  6.  When the appliance has stopped operating, open the lid, pour out the warmed milk and enjoy it.
    Caution: Minimum 3 minutes rest time must be maintained between two continuous cycles, otherwise, the appliance will enter self-protection state automatically after working for 5 cycles continuously, the indicator will be illuminated red and flash, after about 10 minutes, the appliance will enter standby state and you can continue operating the appliance.

Frothing & Heating

  • Place the appliance on a flat surface.

  • Place the jug on the power base and connect the plug into a power outlet., all of the indicator will illuminated white.

  • Press the froth&heat button once, the corresponding indicator will illuminated white and flash, Then the appliance will start to work. Once the temperature of milk has achieved about 70±10°C, the he-ating element will stop heating and the mixing paddle will stop rotating automatically.

  • When the appliance has stopped operating, open the lid, pour out the warmed and frothed to enjoy it.

  • NOTE: During operation, please don’t open the lid. If you press the work button before replacing the lid, the unit can’t blend.  Ensure a minimum cooling interval of 3 minutes is observed between two continuous operation cycles.

  • If you do not observe the minimum cooling interval, then the appliance will automatically enter the pro-tection mode after 5 continuous cycles (the indicators will flash and the control buttons will be inactive). After about 10 minutes, the appliance will go into standby and you can continue to use it.

  • Even if you unplug the appliance you still need to wait about 10 minutes.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Preparation for cleaning
Always disconnect the appliance from the power outlet and allow it cooling down before cleaning. CAUTION: Never immerse the power base in water, or allow moisture to contact with these parts.

  1. Wash lid with water and mild detergent. The lid is not dishwasher safe component. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
  2. Remove the frothing ring, and wash them completely in warm water.
  3. Wash the inner of jug with a combination of a mild detergent and water and then wipe clean with a soft damp cloth.
  4. Wipe the appearance of jug with a soft damp cloth or cleaner, never use a poisonous cleaner.

NOTE: Do not use chemical, steel, wooden or abrasive cleaners to clean the outside of the appliance to prevent the gloss loss. Be careful when installing, removing and washing the ring (do not squeeze or stretch the ring).
