Dear kela customer,
Congratulations on the purchase of your quality kela product. So that you can enjoy your purchase for many years, please read the following product information, notes on safe use and the care and cleaning instructions.

Features

Using nonstick pots and pans helps you get the best results so that your dishes are guaranteed to turn out perfectly. Food preparation using less fat contributes to a health-conscious diet. Even when you add just a small quantity of fat, nothing will burn or stick. The specially developed coating guarantees outstanding nonstick properties, enabling you to cook and fry with little fat and making cleaning particularly quick and easy. The coating is particularly useful for delicate foods such as omelettes or fish.

Benefits

  • Durable
  • Easy to clean thanks to the nonstick action
  • Low-fat and healthy frying and cooking
  • Suitable for all hob types – including induction

Notes on safe use

  • First remove the adhesive label.
  • Thoroughly wash the pan in hot soapy water and dry it carefully.
  • Do not use metal cooking utensils and do not use knives to cut food in the pan. This can cause scratches and incision marks in the nonstick coating, which can affect the nonstick action.
  • Do not leave pots and pans unattended during use. Keep out of the reach of children.
  • Do not put the product over too high a heat, and never heat an empty pan for a long period: risk of overheating!
  • Handles must not be positioned above hot rings on the hob: risk of burning!
  • When using the product in the oven, use potholders or oven gloves.
  • Take particular care when using hot fat.
  • Never use water to extinguish burning fat.
  • To extinguish burning fat, cover the pan to suffocate the flames.
  • To avoid accidents, the product should only be used if the handle is firmly attached. If the screws have come loose, tighten them using a screwdriver.

Note for electric hobs
To make better use of energy, the diameter of the hob ring should match that of the base of the pot or pan.
Note for induction hobs
An induction hob is an extremely rapid source of heat. Do not heat empty pots and pans as these can be damaged through overheating. At high temperatures you may hear a buzzing sound; this is due to the technology. It does not represent a fault in your hob or in the product. The diameter of the base of the pot or pan must match the size of the cooktop on the induction hob. If the base diameter is too small, in particular, it may be the case that the hob‘s magnetic field is not activated.

Care and cleaning

Pots and pans with nonstick coating are very easy to clean. If the pan is only slightly dirty, simply wipe it around with a tea towel. Otherwise, clean it in hot soapy water using a sponge or cloth.
Always dry the product carefully. Rub it with cooking oil from time to time to retain the nonstick property. We recommend cleaning by hand.
