Description

BC Universal Sealer is a convenient premixed ready-to use, injectable calcium aluminosilicate compound paste developed for permanent obturation of the root canal. BC Universal Sealer is based on a calcium aluminosilicate compound composition, which requires the presence of water to set and harden. BC Universal Sealer does not shrink during setting and demonstrates excellent physical properties.

Setting time
Setting time is 25min. measured according to ISO6876:2012 (100% humidity condition). However, in normal root canals, the setting time can be more than 2.5 hours.

Recommended Procedure

Prepare and irrigate the root canal using standard endodontic techniques.
For your convenience, fix a free angle holder to the syringe as below picture
Remove the syringe cap from the BC Universal Sealer syringe. Securely attach a disposable tip with a clockwise twist to the hub of the syringe. The disposable tip is flexible and can be bent to facilitate access to the root canal.
Insert the tip of the syringe into the root canal no deeper than the coronal one third(1/3). Gently and smoothly dispense BC Universal Sealer into the apex of the root canal. A radiograph can be taken at this stage to ensure an adequate apical seal. If the placement is not sufficient, thoroughly irrigate BC Universal Sealer out of the root canal and repeat the procedure.
Continue filling the root canal with BC Universal Sealer while withdrawing the disposable tip. Fill the root canal completely; avoid the formation of air bubbles and overfilling of the root canal.
Remove excess BC Universal Sealer from the top of the root canal with a moist cotton pellet.
Place the Gutta-Percha Points into the root canal using standard endodontic techniques.

Storage

Please keep the syringe cap tightly when not using BC Universal Sealer.
Avoid exposure to direct sunlight.
Store in a cool place.

Precautions

For dental use only.
It should be used by a dentist and dental professional. Observe theprocedure and the precautions.
Keep it away from a reach of non-dental users including children, senior citizens and others.
Do not press paste with excess force, because the patient may have some acute pain.
Do not overfill beyond the apex.
In accidental contact with eyes occurs, flush immediately with a large amount of water.
Do not reuse the disposable tip after use.
Do not use after expiry date.
Do not use as an internal medicine.
