Product Information

This lighting fixture is designed to provide illumination in various indoor spaces. It comes with a mounting plate, canopy, chain, and sockets to securely hold the bulbs. The fixture is compatible with type B bulbs with a maximum wattage of 40W CFL bulbs with a maximum wattage of 13W or LED bulbs with a maximum wattage of 9W. The package includes three 4W LED bulbs.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Step 1: Unpack all parts from the cartons carefully. Screw the Chain (J) to the Hanging Loop (F) and the Fixture Loop (I) using the Closable link/cap (H) as shown in the diagram.
2. Step 2: Weave the 2-wire power cord and bare ground wire through every other loop to the top of the chain (J), centre holes of Hanging Loop (F), Canopy (E), and Mounting Plate (B) as shown in the diagram. Insert the threaded tube of the Mounting Plate (B) into the centre hole of the Hanging Loop (F) and rotate it clockwise until tight. Slide the Canopy Nut (G) and then the Canopy (E) to the end of the Chain (J).
   • Connect the fixture neutral wire (ribbed) to the outlet box neutral wire (usually white) using a wire nut.
   • Connect the fixture hot wire (smooth with markings) to the outlet box hot wire (usually black) using a wire nut.
   • CAUTION: Do not reverse the hot and neutral connections.
   • Step 3: Wire connection
   • Grounding Instructions: Wrap the ground wire
3. Step 4: Attach the Mounting Plate (B) to the junction box by inserting two Mounting Screws (D) and turning them clockwise until tight. Slide the Canopy (E) upward along the chain (J) until it reaches the ceiling surface. Fix the Canopy (E) by rotating the Canopy Nut (G) clockwise to engage it with the threaded portion of the Hanging Loop (F) until secure. Do not over-tighten this nut. Insert the bulbs (C) into the sockets (L) until they are secure. DO NOT EXCEED THE SPECIFIED WATTAGE.

• WE RECOMMEND INSTALLATION OF THIS LIGHTING FIXTURE BE DONE BY A LICENSED ELECTRICIAN **
• Switch off the main electrical supply from the main fuse box/circuit breaker before installation.
• Inspect the item carefully before attempting to install it.
• If there are any damages or obvious defects, do not install them.
• The item may not be returned once it has been installed.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

• To clean the outside of the fixture, use a dry or slightly dampened clean cloth (use clean water, never a solvent) to wipe the surface of the fixture.
• To clean the inside of the fixture, first disconnect the power to the fixture by turning off the circuit breaker or by removing the fuse at the fuse box.
• Next, use a dry or slightly dampened clean cloth (use clean water, never a solvent) to wipe the interior surface of the fixture.
• Do not use any cleaners with chemicals, solvents or harsh abrasives. Use only a dry soft cloth to dust or wipe carefully.

• This item should be assembled on a soft surface to prevent scratching the finish during assembly
• To reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock or injury to persons or property, please follow the guidelines below for safe use and installation
• The external flexible cable or cord of this lamp cannot be replaced
• If the cord is damaged, the lamp shall be destroyed

Before beginning assembly of the product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with the package contents list and hardware contents list.
