Installation
- WARNING: TO AVOID FIRE, SHOCK, OR DEATH, UNPLUG CORD OR TURN OFF POWER AT CIRCUIT BREAKER OR FUSE AND TEST THAT POWER IS OFF BEFORE WIRING!
- The provided interchangeable blade enable the plug to be converted between 30amp type and 50amp type.
- Prepare Cord: Strip cord jacket according to STRIPPING DIAGRAM (P1)
- Connect Wires: Twist all strands of each conductor tightly together and insert into proper terminal. Hold each conductor in terminal housing, tighten each terminal screw to 1.6 N.M(≈14.2 in. lbs )of Max torque, firmly over conductor.
- 14-50P as an example: Connect the green wire to the U-shaped blades. Connect the white wire to the straight blade opposite the U-shaped blade, connect the other 2 wires to the remaining 2 blades. Make sure the blade wire clamps face toward to the outside and wiring position is correct (P2). please refer to the Wire Diagram below for wiring details.
- Install the cord clamp and tighten the screws.
- Put the cover back to the plug, tighten the surface mounting screws. 【Cord Range: #10/3 SRD to #4/3 SRD, 8.in.dia.max】
