JEENKAE Vintage Swing Arm Wall Sconces

Product Usage – Hardwired Installation

1. Disconnect power at the fuse or circuit breaker before installing or servicing the product.

2. Loosen part C around the back plate center and release the wires.

3. Pass the wires through the center hole and screw them back with part C.

4. Connect the mounting plate E to the junction box using bolt F.
   If you don’t have a junction box, drill holes for the anchor screws and use self-tapping bolts (Fig.2 parts 2 and 1) instead.

5. Wiring the fixture as shown in the left image:

   • Connect the shorter black wire from the switch to the black wire from the fixture (center hole).
   • Connect the longer black wire from the switch to the live wire from the junction box.
   • Connect the white wire to the neutral wire.
   • Connect the copper wire (ground wire) to the ground wire.

6. Secure the fixture to the mounting plate and junction box using screws H.

7. Install part J, lampshade K, and lighting bulb with socket retaining ring L.

Installation

Risk of Fire/Electric Shock. Disconnect power at fuse or circuit breaker before installing or servicing

Hardwired

1. Loosen part C around the back-plate center, release the wires, pass the wires through the center hole, then screw them back with C
2. Use bolt F to connect the mounting plate E to the junction box. Or if you don’t have a junction box for it, drill holes for the anchor screws, and use the self-tapping bolts (Fig.2 parts 2 and 1) instead
3. Wiring the fixture as the left image shows: connect the shorter black wire from the switch to the black wire from the fixture (center hole) , then connect the longer black wire from the switch to the live wire from junction box, white wire to the neutral wire from, copper wire (ground wire) to ground wire
4. Use screws H to secure the fixture to the mounting plate and junction box5, Install part J, lampshade K, and lighting bulb with socket retaining ring

Plug-in Wiring

1. Connect the shorter black wire from the switch to the black wire fromthe light fixture (center hole)
2. Pull in the plug-in cord and secure it in the canopy with an electrician’s knot
3. Connect the black wire from the plug-in cord to the longer black wire from the switch
4. Connect the white wire from the light fixture (center hole) to the white wire from the plug-in cord
5. Connect the copper wire (ground wire) to the mounting bracket with the green screw

Plug-in

1. Assemble the fixture as step 1 in the hardwired installation
2. Drill holes for anchors A, and secure mounting plate B to the wall by tapping bolts C and anchors A
3. Wiring the fixture as Fig. 2 and plug-in wiring guide
4. Use screw F to secure the fixture to the mounting plate and junction box
5. Install part G, lampshade K, and lighting bulb with socket retaining ring
6. By loosening the knob that connects the arm and socket, you can adjust the lampshade to get different angles of lighting

Tips

Use the tapping bolts with anchors to mount the light if you don’t have an existing junction box for it * Secure the wiring connection with the wire connectors [D] (fig.1) and insulated tape
Turn the switch clockwise to get it on or off (it won’t work turning it counterclockwise if you want to turn it off)
