Product Usage Instructions
Step 1: Preparing for Firmware Update

Ensure that your chipset driver & USB driver are up to date.

Download the firmware update tool and extract the files.

Turn off your PC.

Disconnect the USB Type C Cable from the GA II LCD. If there is
a SATA cable connected, remove it as well. -
Turn on your PC after 30 seconds.
Step 2: Executing the Firmware Update
- Run the executable file from the extracted firmware update tool.
- Check the box corresponding to GA II LCD and USB Type C.
- Plug in the USB Type C Cable of GA II LCD, and the firmware upgrade process will start automatically.
- Wait for the firmware update to be completed.
- Plug back the SATA cable of GA II LCD if it was disconnected.
- You can now control the GA II LCD using L-Connect 3 software.
FAQ
Q: When should I update the firmware manually?
A: You should update the firmware manually if the LCD screen remains stuck on the Lian Li logo screen after booting or if the firmware update progress stays at 0 for over 1 minute when using L-Connect 3.

If either of the following two situations occurs, please update the firmware manually:
- After boot, the LCD screen stays on the Lian Li logo screen and cannot be controlled with L-Connect 3.
- When using L-Connect 3 to perform firmware update, the progress remains at 0 for over 1 min.
Make sure that your chipset driver & USB driver is up to date before running all the steps
- Download this tool and extract
- Turn off your PC
- USB Type C Cable from GA II LCD, Remove SATA Cable(if there is one)
- Turn on your PC 30 sec later
- Execute file
- Check the box of
- Plug the USB Type C Cable of GA II LCD and the software will auto run the firmware upgrade
- Firmware update done
- Plug the SATA cable of GA II LCD (if there is one)
- You are now able to controller GA II LCD with L- Connect 3
