  • Read all instructions carefully before using the INDUCTION COOKER, and keep this instruction for future reference when necessary.
    ** This instruction manual can be acquired at www.origo.hk.

Important Safety Information

  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning  use of  the appliance by a person responsible or their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  • This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as: staff kitchen areas in shops, office and other working environments; farm houses; by clients in hotels; motels and other residential type environments; bed and breakfast type environments.
  • Before using the appliance, check if the voltage marked on the rating label corresponds to the mains at your home.
  • Appliances are not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
  • To prevent the risk of electric shock, DO NOT USE the set with broken power supply wires, broken fuse or broken plug. All repair works must be made by a professional (authorized distributor). NEVER TRY TO REPAIR the cable or plug by yourself. Please take the damaged set to your local authorized maintenance center.
  • WARMING: If the surface is cracked, switch off the appliance to avoid the possibility of electric shock.
  • Metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons and lids should not be placed on the induction hotplates since they can get hot.
  • Use of an extension cord is not recommended as it may overheat and cause risk of fire. Must use the same specification power cord with the original power cord.
  • To prevent overloading and blowing fuses, ensure that no other high power appliance is plugged into the same socket, or another socket which is connected in the same circuit.
  • Open the package and ensure that the appliance is undamaged. In case of doubt do not use the appliance and contact your supplier.
  • Ensure the appliance is placed on a stable, secure surface to eliminate the possibility of tipping over or avoid any water in the set.
  • DO NOT OPERATE this appliance near water sources or flammable liquids.
  • The appliance is not intended for use in wet or damp locations. Never locate the appliance where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
  • DO NOT OPERATE this appliance on or near any hot surface.
  • This appliance cannot be used beside the stove and other high temperature objects.
  • DO NOT PUT the cord under the carpet, blankets. Always keep the power cable away from the walk way in room.
  • Do not hang the power cord on the edge of table or touch the surface with high temperature in order to avoid damage to the power cord.
  • Do not allow to turn on this appliance if you have not place any food on it.
  • All Cookware is made of iron or magnetic stainless steel are available for the Cooker and please limit the food within 5 kg and flat bottom base cookware with the diameter in between 12-26 cm.origo IC347B Induction Cooker - container1
  • Cookware is made of non-ferric metal, stainless steel with non-magnetic base (A magnet will not stick to the bottom of cookware), ceramic, glass, aluminum and copper, uneven base, curved, has protrusions or legs are not available for the Cooker.origo IC347B Induction Cooker - container2
  • To avoid any danger of explosion, please do not heat the canned goods before remove their cover.
  • If the temperature is too high, LED display will show”E01″with alarm. Please cut off the power and restart after several minutes.
  • Never try to touch the hot surface of this appliance before it is cool down.

Preparation Before Use

  1. Take apart the Cooker clean with a soft damp cloth. Place your Cooker on the level and stable surfier.
  2. Make sure that all packing materials are removed before use.
  3. Choose the near part of socket during use. Do not use it near any sources with water.
  4.  Do not place the appliance on top of carpet, tablecloth, paper sheet or mat etc. (If the air intake/exhaust vent is clogged, it may cause malfunction.)

Operations

  1. Place the cookware on the heating zone and make sure the bottom fully contacts with the glass plate of main body.

  2. Connect this Cooker to the power supply, the Cooker will have a beep sound, press ON/OFF key , LED display —- , the Cooker is on stand-by mode.

  3. MODE: Press Mode Key , LED will display 2000 , power W indicator light on, press this key again, LED will display 180 , temperature ℃ indicator light on.
    – When choosing Power W function, the LED will display2000,  press key or key to set desired power from (200W to 2000W).
    – When choosing Temperature ℃ function, the LED will display 180, press key or key to set the temperature from (60℃ to 240℃).

  4. TIMER: Press TIMER key, then press key or key to set desired auto power off time (1 minutes to 180 minutes). To cancel the timer function, press this key again and hold on 2 seconds.

  5. LOCK: Press LOCK key and hold on 3 seconds, control panel is locked. To release lock function, press this key again and hold on 3 seconds.

  6. OFF: To stop using the Cooker, press ON/OFF key again. Don’t pull out plug immediately, wait for air ventilation works for within 30 minutes to cool down the Cooker, until the fan stops completely.

  7. Wait until the heating zone is completely cool down before moving or cleaning the Cooker.

Note: In order to enhance the safety of use, this Induction Cooker is preset with a 2-hour forced shutdown function.

Trouble Shooting

If there is something wrong with the Induction Cooker, please check it as following:

Malfunction(LED Display) Reason
E0 There is no pot or unsuitable pot on the appliance.
E01 The circuit version is over heated, or circuit version sensor in open or

short circuit.
E02| The thermal sensor under glass panel is over heated in open or short circuit.
E03| The input voltage is lower or higher than normal voltage.

Maintenance

  1.  Make sure the plug is removed from the power supply socket. After the appliance is completely cooled down, clean it with the mild cleaner or gel-like cleaner by using soft cloth.
  2. PLEASE DO NOT CLEAN THE COOKER WHEN IT IS STILL HOT. DO NOT USE hard brushes, scratchy materials and/or alcohol, petrol or any organic cleaner for the cleaning purpose.
  3.  Do not immerse the main body in water to clean.
  4. If acidic food (e.g. Vinegar, jam or food containing lemon juice or plum, etc.) sticks to the panel or main body, wipe it off immediately. Otherwise, the panel or main body may be discolored.
  5. Materials including plastic, aluminum foil, sugar or any foodstuff contain sugar are already burnt on or melted on the heating zone unintentionally. It must be removed or cleaned immediately with soft damp cloth when the panel is still warm. Otherwise, it may damage the panel when cool down.
  6. After using a long time, dust and grease may accumulate on the air intake/ exhaust air vent which may affect the cooker’s operation. Clean the appliance regularly and make use of cotton stick.
  7. The panel may suffer from damages such as color changes to yellow, black or scratched for improper using (e.g. cook with dirty bottom cookware or do not clean immediately after the overflow of soup etc.).
  8. Put the appliance on the cool place right after the cleaning.

This product is warranted for 1year (commercial use for 3 months) from the date of purchase under the following conditions:

  1. For any defect, in the judgment of our technician, if it is caused under normal use, we are responsible for repairing the product, and/or replacing parts at free of charge.

  2. This warranty DOES NOT apply to:
    – If the product has been damaged through abuse, misuse, negligence or accidents;
    – Unauthorized repair, alteration/modification;
    – The housing, glass panel or accessories, is excluded from this warranty.

  3. The customer is requested to bring the unit to and from our Service Centre whenever service is needed.

  4. Any defective parts, which had been replaced, shall be of our property.

  5. This warranty is valid in H.K.S.A.R. only.

  6. Please show the Invoice to get free service.
