OPENING THE BATTERY DOOR
- Slide the door lock latch towards the center of the camera to the UNLOCK position and hold.
- Release the latch and door. The battery door will pop up and open.
Note : Use a fingernail or other pointy object when sliding the latch to get a better grip. When the latch is fully open, the battery door will pop up.
INSERTING THE BATTERY

Insert the battery into the compartment with the metal contacts aligned as shown.

Push the battery all the way into the compartment until the battery lock closes over the top of battery. If the lock does not cover the top of the battery as shown, then the battery is either not inserted correctly or it is not inserted fully into the compartment.
CLOSING THE BATTERY DOOR
- Close the battery door down firmly until it is completely flat.
- Press the battery door down firmly until it clicks and locks into place. The door is fully locked into place once the latch clicks into the LOCK position.
If the latch does not click into place automatically, press down on the door and manually slide the latch into the locked position.
