Product Usage Instructions
Installation
- Step 1: Before starting any installation, turn off the water supply. Also, check the desired location for drilling to ensure no pipes or wires can be damaged.
- Step 2: Prepare the water supply pipes to match up with the towel radiator and valve dimensions being used. Fit the radiator valve tail and nut into the radiator (not supplied) at both sides and use sealing tape to tighten into position.
- Step 3: Mark the positions of the wall and floor brackets on either side of the radiator. Use a spirit level to ensure they are aligned. Then, use an 8mm drill bit to drill into the marked positions. If drilling into tile, it is recommended to tape the wall to prevent the drill from slipping.
- Step 4: Insert all the wall plugs and tap them flush to the finished wall surface. Next, position the wall brackets and screw them into place using the provided screws. Once the wall brackets are secure, push the radiator on until it is firmly fixed into place.
- Step 5: Secure each wall bracket with the grub screws provided. Then, finish securing the radiator by screwing down the floor brackets using the provided screws.
- Step 6: Insert the air vent at the top of the radiator and add a little sealer tape to secure it. Tighten the air vent, but be careful not to overtighten. Finally, fit the radiator valves to the pipework and connect them to the radiator valve tail. Tighten all connections securely.
- Step 7: IMPORTANT! The product is supplied unfilled. If the radiator is not being connected to the central heating system, it should be filled with a water (80%) and glycol (20%) mixture. Leave a 5% air gap.
After Installation
Cleaning:
To maintain the surface of your towel radiator, wipe it with a clean damp
cloth and then wipe it dry. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or materials
as they can strip and scratch the surface, which may invalidate your
guarantee. It is recommended to wipe and dry the radiator regularly.
