SAFETY
1.1. ELECTRICAL SAFETY
WARNING! It is the user’s responsibility to check the following:
Check all electrical equipment and appliances to ensure that they are safe
before using. Inspect power supply leads, plugs and all electrical connections
for wear and damage. Sealey recommend that an RCd (Residual Current device) is
used with all electrical
products. You may obtain an RCd by contacting your local Sealey Stockist.
If the product is used in the course of business duties, it must be maintained
in a safe condition and routinely PAT (Portable Appliance Test) tested.

1.1.1. ensure that the insulation on all cables and on the appliance is safe
before connecting it to the power supply.
1.1.2. Regularly inspect power supply cables and plugs for wear or damage and
check all connections to ensure that they are secure.
1.1.3. Important: Ensure that the voltage rating on the appliance suits the
power supply to be used and that the plug is fitted with the correct fuse –
see fuse rating in these instructions.
DO NOT pull or carry the appliance by the power cable.
DO NOT pull the plug from the socket by the cable. Remove the plug from the
socket by maintaining a firm grip on the plug.
DO NOT use worn or damaged cables, plugs or connectors. ensure that any faulty
item is repaired or replaced immediately by a qualified electrician.
1.1.4. This product is fitted with a BS1363/A 13 Amp 3 pin plug.
If the cable or plug is damaged during use, switch off the electricity supply
and remove from use.
Replace a damaged plug with a BS1363/A 13 Amp 3 pin plug. If in doubt contact
a qualified electrician.
Class II products are wired with live (brown) and neutral (blue) only are
marked with the Class II symbol;
A) Connect the BROWN live wire to the live terminal ‘L’.
B) Connect the BLUE neutral wire to the neutral terminal ‘N’.
C) After wiring, check that there are no bare wires and ensure that all wires
have been correctly connected. ensure that the cable outer sheath extends
inside the cable restraint and that the restraint is tight.
DO NOT connect either wire to the earth terminal.
Sealey recommend that repairs are carried out by a qualified
electrician. 1.2. GENERAL
SAFETY
disconnect the fan from the mains power when not in use, and before servicing
or performing any maintenance.
Use the fan in dry areas only. DO NOT use in wet or high condensation
locations such as bathrooms, showers, or pools.
WARNING! If fan falls into water, immediately disconnect from the mains
power supply. DO NOT touch the fan until the mains power supply has been
disconnected.
Always disconnect the fan from the power supply when moving it from one
location to another.
Keep the fan clean and maintained in good condition (use an authorised service
agent).
Use recommended parts only (unauthorised parts may be dangerous, and will
invalidate your warranty).
DO NOT insert any objects through the fan guard.
DO NOT cover the fan.
DO NOT immerse the fan in water or any other liquid.
DO NOT allow children to operate the fan.
DO NOT place the fan where it may be knocked over easily, or where the lead
may cause a person to trip.
DO NOT use the fan outdoors.
DO NOT use an extension cord unless it has been approved by an electrical
authority.
When not in use store in a safe, dry, childproof location.
Use by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children
should be supervised to ensure that they DO NOT play with the appliance.

Clip-on fan featuring tilt and swivel head for optimum air circulation. Switch control and fully guarded fan blades for ease-of-use and extra safety. Smooth running motor powers fan blades.

OPERATION
WARNING!
Ensure you read, understand and apply the safety instructions in Section 1
before using the fan.
WARNING! DO NOT clamp the fan to any electrical or sensitive electronic
equipment or any surface or object that is too flimsy to resist the force of
the spring loaded clamp and/or the weight of the fan.
4.1. Mount the fan in a suitable location, using the spring loaded clamp to
attach it to a suitable table, shelf or other stable solid surface up to 36mm
thick as indicated in figs.1 & 2.
4.2. Adjust the angle of the head as indicated in fig.2C. Loosen knob ‘B’ and
set the fan to the required angle, re-tighten the knob.
4.3. If necessary, the whole fan can be rotated on the clamp as indicated in
fig.2A.
4.4. The fan can also be wall mounted using the keyhole slots on the clamp as
shown in fig.1A.
4.5. Plug the fan into the mains power supply.
4.6. Move slide switch on the rear of the fan head to position “1” for normal
fan speed operation, and to position “2” for high fan speed. To stop the fan,
move the slide switch to the central ‘OFF’ position. See fig.3.
MAINTENANCE
IMPORTANT: Turn the fan Off and disconnect from power supply before
cleaning.
Use only a soft, damp cloth to clean the fan.
DO NOT submerse the fan in water and NEVER allow water to drip into the motor
housing.
DO NOT use solvents or other chemicals to clean the fan.
Store the fan in its original box or otherwise cover the fan to protect it
from dust.
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools,
accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and
disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the
product becomes completely
unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into
approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids according to local
regulations.
WEEER EGULATIONS
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the
EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). When the
product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally
protective way. Contact your local solid waste authority for recycling
information.

Warranty: Guarantee is 12 months from purchase date, proof of which is
