IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using electrical appliances, basic satety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

BEFORE FIRST USE

  1. Remove all packaging materials.
  2. Clean the baking plates with a damp cloth or sponge. Do not allow water to run into the appliance.
  3. When the appliance is new, you may notice some smoke or a slight odor. Some minor expansion or contraction sounds may occur during heating and cooling. These do not affect the safety of your appliance. It is recommended that you discard the first waffle made by your new waffle maker as it will absorb some of the residues that were missed during the initial cleaning.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Making the batter

  • For best results, allow the batter to swell for half an hour before baking. Pre-heating
  1. Insert the plug into the wall outlet; you will see the red power light coming on; this light will constantly remain ON until you unplug the appliance.
  2. Select the required baking temperature. The green indicator light goes on.
    • NOTE The results (browning, crispiness) depend on the baking temperature as well as the duration of the baking and the quality of the  batter. The temperature can beadjusted according to what color you like your waffles. Low-temperature settings result in softer, lighter-colored waffles, and high-temperature settings will result in darker, crispier waffles.
  3. The waffle maker should be kept in the closed position to allow the appliance to pre-heat for about 5 indices he after wat the matter reaches the preset temperature, the preheating process is finished.
  4. Apply some butter or oil to the surface of the baking plates using a brush.

Baking

  1. Ladle just 200ml batter to fill the lower grid so that the peaked areas of the grid are covered. If necessary, use a spatula to spread the batter into the corners of the grid.
  2. Close the waffle maker. Do not open it until the green light switches off again. Opening the waffle maker too soon will cause the unbaked waffles to split and make them difficult to remove.
  3. This appliance can be rotated by 180 °
    • To do this, turn the appliance over after the lid is closed for 20-30  seconds; the waffle will be more delicious.
  4. The waffles would be done by about 3-s minutes according to your selected control setting. If you find that you want them a little darker, close the lid and leave them for as long as desired.
  5. Remove the waffle from the grid with a no-metallic utensil when the waffle is ready.
  6. When you have finished baking, simply turn the temperature knob to the “0” position to stop the operation. Unplug the appliance from the wall outlet. The red power light will switch off. Leave the waffle maker open to allow it to cool. After cooling, the grids may be wiped clean with paper towels.

WAFFLE RECIPES

  • Vanilla waffles (approx. 10 pieces)
    • 180g soft butter
    • 180g sugar
    • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
    • 4 eggs
    • 500g flour
    • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
    • 1L milk

PREPARATION Whip the soft butter, the sugar, and the vanilla sugar to a froth. Stir in the eggs one by one. Finally, add the flour, baking powder,and milk and stir to a smooth, thick-textured batter.

  • Chocolate waffles (approx. 8 pieces)
    • 6 eggs
    • 150g butter or margarine
    • 120g sugar
    • 1 pinch of salt
    • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
    • 150g flour
    • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
    • 300ml milk
    • 2 teaspoons of grated chocolate

PREPARATION Separate the eggs. Whip the soft butter with the sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt to a froth. Stir in the egg yolks one by one. Mix the flour with the baking powder, then add to the batter alternately with the milk and mix well. Beat the egg white until stiff, add together with the grated chocolate, and then fold into the mixture.

CLEANING AND STORAGE

  1. Switch off, unplug, and allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. After cooling, any excess crumbs or oil can be wiped off with a paper towel. There is no need to disassemble the appliance for cleaning.
  3. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid. Do not place it in a dishwasher.
  4. Do not use metal utensils as these can damage the non-stick surface. Use only wooden or plastic utensils to touch the non-stick surface.
  5. Wipe the top and bottom housings with a soft cloth. A small amount of metal polish suitable for stainless steel may occasionally be used on the toppers or street use basic sse will damage the housing finishes.
