USING YOUR HAND MIXER

  1. With the speed selector in the OFF position, plug the cord into power outlet.

  2. Turn the speed selector to your desired speed and begin mixing. The mixer speed will be increased 25% when the turbo button is depressed.
Tip: always start mixing at slow speeds and increase the speed gradually to prevent ingredients splashing out of the mixing bowl. When adding dry ingredients use the lowest speed to prevent the snow storm effect.

  3. The max operation time per time shall not exceed 3 minutes and minimum 15 minutes rest time must be maintained between two consecutive cycles. When kneading yeast dough, suggest the speed selector is in 1 or 2 position to achieve best results. When mixing is complete, turn the speed selector to OFF position and unplug the cord from power outlet.

  4. Scrape the excess food particles from the beaters or dough hooks by rubber or wooden spatula.

  5. To remove the beaters/dough hooks, place fingers loosely around the spindles and depress the eject button firmly down.
Note: make sure the power cord is unplugged from the power outlet before removing the beaters/dough hooks.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  1. Unplug the appliance and wait it completely cool down before cleaning.
  2. Wipe over the outside surface with a dampened cloth and polish with a soft dry cloth.
  3. Wipe any excess food particles from the power cord.
Caution: never immerse the mixer in the water for cleaning.

COOKERY TIPS

  1. Refrigerated ingredients, such as butter and eggs, they should be at room temperature before mixing begins. Set these ingredients out ahead of time.
  2. Assemble all ingredients and utensils near the mixer.
  3. To eliminate the possibility of shells or deteriorated-off eggs in your recipe, break eggs into separate container first, then adding to the mixture.
  4. When mixing egg whites, be sure the bowls and beaters are thoroughly cleaned and dried. As even the smallest amount of oil on beaters or bowl may cause the egg whites not to aerate.
  5. Always start mixing at lower speed. Gradually increase to the recommended speed as stated in the recipe.
  6. Do not over-beat. Be careful that you only mix/blend mixtures until recommended in your recipe. Fold into dry ingredients only until just combined. Always use the low speed. At any stage of mixing, over beating can cause toughness, close texture, lack of rising or excessive shrinkage. Climatic conditions. Seasonal temperature changes, temperature of ingredients and their texture variation from area to area all play a part in the required mixing time and the results achieved.
  7. During mixing, ingredients may splash to the sides of the bowl. To scrape the bowl, turn the beaters to the OFF position and using a plastic or rubber spatula, scrape the bowl. NEVER USE A KNIFE, METAL SPOON OR FORK, as this may cause damage to the beaters and bowl. A light scraping after the addition of each ingredient assists in achieving efficient mixing.
