AG110-004 Reverse Osmosis Air Gap Drain

Product Information

The AG110-004 is a countertop-mounted reverse osmosis air gap system. It is designed to prevent back-flow from the discharge tubing into the RO system. The discharge water flows out of the reverse osmosis system into the air gap inlet, passes through the air gap, and then down to the drain piping.

Specifications

  • Model: AG110-004
  • Flow Capacity: 0.4 GPM (1.5 Liters/minute)

Installation Instructions

Step 1: Check Flow Rate

  1. Make sure that the flow rate output of the RO equipment meets AG110-004 flow capacity limits of 0.4 GPM (1.5 Liters/minute).

Step 2: Mounting

  1. Secure the countertop housing using the provided mounting washer and screws. If using mounting option 1, drill a 3/4-inch hole for air gap housing installation.
  2. Check the inlet and outlet ports marking on the AG110-004 body. (See FIG 1-2)

Step 3: Outlet Tubing

  1. The AG110-004 is a gravity flow device and must have an outlet poly tubing feeding directly into a drain without kinks, loops, sagging, or bends. Mount the AG110-004 on the counter to help the discharge water flow freely through the outlet tubing. (See FIG 1-3)

Step 4: Connect Tubing

  1. Connect a 1/4-inch OD poly tubing from an RO unit to the AG110-004 inlet port.
  2. Connect a 3/8-inch OD poly tubing to the outlet port and insert the other end into a drain pipe using a suitable drain line adapter. (See FIG 1-4)

Step 5: Install Air Gap

  1. Install the AG110-004 inside the countertop unit. Align the slide guides of the housing with the AG110-004 and push the air gap until the air gap windows are aligned. (See FIG 1-5)

Step 6: Install Cover

  1. Install the decorative cover on top of the housing. (See FIG 1-6)
