Introduction
The BTS29 Bluetooth speaker allows you to listen to the music stored on your iPod™, iPhone™, or other Bluetooth enabled device without the need to connect via wires or a dock. It can also be used as a loudspeaker for your mobile phone calls.

Re-chargeable Battery and Charging
This Bluetooth Speaker has an internal, non user-replaceable battery. For best
results, the first time you use this Bluetooth Speaker, let it charge for 4-6
hours until fully charged.
- Connect the Bluetooth Speaker’s Micro USB socket (4) to the USB power adaptor via the USB cabte suppled.
- The Charge LED (3) will tum red when the battery 0s charging,
- The Charge LED (3) tight will turn off when the battery is fully charged.
- Disconnect the LSB cable when the battery is fulty charged.
Please Note:
The BTS29 has been designed to be charged by a 24, 5V USB output if connected
to a lower rated output it may not charge properly or take a lot longer to
charge.
Bluetooth Pairing
Pairing your speaker with Bluetooth enabled Android mobiles and tablets
- Place the speaker and mobile/tablet within 1 metre of each other. Tum on the speaker using the power switch (11) on the side of the speaker, the LED will flash white, the speaker is ready to pair.
- Select the Bluetooth function on your mobile and search fos Bluetooth devices, the speaker will appear as “BTS29° in the Bluetooth device list, select and pair.
- Cennection will normally be automatic if a password is required enter (0000). After successful pairing, select “BTS29″ in the Bluetooth device list, and press “connect”. After successful connection, LED changes to slow blinking from fast.
Please Note:
- If the pairing is not successful, turn off the speaker and try pairing again.
- After successful pawing, paired devices will rernember each other. Unless pairing information is deleted, pairing should be automatic when both devices are switched on in range of each other.
- To pas with a new device follow steps 1-3 above after disconnecting the existing parr.
Pairing your speaker with iPhone/iPad
Place the speaker and yous iPhone/iPad within 1 metre of each other.
Turn on the speaker, the LED will flash white, the speaker is ready to pair.
In the iPhonefiPad General menu go to Bluetooth, tap on Bluetooth function,
search the Bluetooth devices, tap “BTS29” to connect.
Pairing your speaker with a PC /laptop Mac running OSX 10 or above
To pair to a PC or Mac follow the same procedure as for a phone or tablet.
After pairing to a Mac you will need to open System Preferences, click on
Sound, click Output and setect the Bluetooth speaker. Then click Input and
select your speaker. Adjust the Input and Output volume to suit. You can also
click an the “Show volume in menu bar’ if you would like to control the volume
fram the menu bar. To show the Bluetooth status in the menu bar go to the
Bivetooth preferences and click on the appropriate checkbox.
During the pairing process, if you are asked for a password enter (0000).
Re-connecting to a paired device
Each time the speaker is turned on, there are two possible outcomes.
The speaker will connect automatically to the last connected device, just
press play for playback. The speaker will be listed on your devices screen as
an available output channel. select the speaker as the output channel and play
your music.
New pairing while connected
While connected to a device, you can switch the Bluetooth Speaker inte
searching mode to look for a new device to pair with simultaneousty. Press and
hold the Play/Pause (8} button untl you hear a tones sound and the Bluetooth
LEO (12) will begin to flash. This wall indicate you can now pair with a new
device.

Power-On
Press and hold to power on speaker
Play/Pause Music
Press the Play/Pause [8) button to pause the speaker and press again to resume
playing
Adjusting the Volume
- Press and hold the + (7) to increase the volume.
- Press and hold the ~ (91 to decrease the volume.
- When maximum or minimum volume has been reached, a series of tones wall sound.
Play Next/Previous Track
- Press the + (7} button to skip to the next track.
- Press the – (9) button to play the prewous wack.
AUX IN connections
You can connect any audio output device to the AUX IN port using the 3.5mm
stereo audio cable supplied. You can then play music through the speaker from
the connected device.
When Aux cable plug in, bluetooth mode will break.
Auto Power-Off
The speaker unit will automatically ‘power down”
- After B minutes if no Bluetooth connection is made.
Hands Free Function
When there is an incommng call while your device is paired to the speaker, the
muss will
pause and the ringing tone vall be sent through the speaker,
- Press the Play/Pause (8} button to answer the call.
- Press the Play/Pause (8) button again to hang up the call. The paused music will stast playing automatically.
- Press and hold Play/Pause (8) button for 3 seconds to ignore the incoming call.
Redial Last Call
- Press the Play/Pause (8} button twice to enter the redial function. The music will pause ard switch to hands free.
- Press the Play/Pause (8) button again to hang up the redialled call and resume playing the paused music.
- Ensure that your mobile phone supports the real function. If not, the redial funcbon: can not be activated,
Low Power Reminder
As the battery power gets low, the Speaker will make a sound every few minutes
to notify you that the battery will need charging. If the battery power gets
to low, the Speaker will power down automatically and switch off. If this
happens, simply connect the Speaker to the power adaptor. After 10-15 minutes
press and hold the power (11) button to tum the Speaker back on, while still
connected to the power adaptor.
Resetting the Bluetooth Speaker
In some circumstances the Speaker may need resetting. To reset the speaker
simply use a straightened paper clip or something similar to push down on the
reset button (2), which is located on the side of the speaker. Press and hold
the power (11) button for 2-3 seconds after the reset to turn the Speaker back
on.
Troubleshooting
Q1 There is no power.
Al Make sure your audio device is charged.
A2. Ensure the device is switched on correctly.
Q2 There is no sound being emitted.
Al Adjust volume on your Bluetooth device as well as on the speaker for
optimum volume and sound quality.
A2 Make sure that your Bluetooth device is in effective range.
A3 Ensure that the Bluetooth device is paired.
A4 Make sure you have selected the correct audio source.
Q3 No response from the speaker.
Al Restart the speaker by using the reset function.
