Product Usage Instructions

Troubleshooting

If your wireless snowplow remote has stopped working, follow these troubleshooting techniques:

  1. If the light on your wireless remote is flashing red, ensure:
    • The ground wiring coming from your transmitter box is connected to the negative terminal of your battery.
    • You have tried changing the battery on your remote.
    • You have tried resetting your wireless remote.
  2. If you have attempted all techniques and your remote is still not functional, you may need to replace it.

Resetting Your Wireless Remote

  1. Take off one of the leads from the battery (positive or negative).
  2. Turn on the remote’s wireless emitter and press the IN and OUT buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. After 3 seconds, the wireless remote light will turn a solid green.
  3. Reconnect your lead back to the battery.

Note: The buttons mentioned here are labeled “IN” and “OUT” on the remote.

TROUBLESHOOTING

HAS YOUR WIRELESS SNOWPLOW REMOTE STOPPED WORKING?
Not to worry, there are several different troubleshooting techniques to get you controlling your snowplow from the comfort of your vehicle.

IF THE LIGHT ON YOUR WIRELESS REMOTE IS FLASHING RED, MAKE SURE THAT:

  1. The ground wiring coming from your transmitter box is going back to the negative terminal on your battery.
  2. You have tried changing the battery on your remote.
  3. You have tried resetting your wireless remote.
