Product Usage Instructions

To ensure the proper usage and maintenance of your PPS100 100W Solar Panel, please follow these safety tips:

• DO NOT expose the solar panel to direct heat sources.
• DO NOT immerse the solar panel in water.
• DO NOT clean the solar panel with water directly. Use a wet cloth to gently wipe it down.
• DO NOT place the solar panel near heat sources such as fire or a heater while using or storing.
• DO NOT pierce the solar panel casing with any sharp object.
• DO NOT attempt to disassemble the solar panel in any way.
• DO NOT expose the solar panel to strong corrosive substances.
• DO NOT charge a vehicle battery directly using the solar panel.
• DO NOT drop, knock, disassemble, or attempt to repair the solar panel.

To claim warranty or report a defect within the one (1) year warranty period, please follow these steps:

1. Contact DK2 Inc. at 1-888-277-6960 or visit www.dk2.com.
2. Notify DK2 Inc. of the claimed defect and provide proof of purchase.
3. DK2 Inc. will replace the defective part for free.

After the one (1) year warranty period, DK2 Inc. will have no further liability related to the product.

WHAT IS COVERED – 1-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY INCLUDED
DK2 Inc. warrants to the original purchaser that product will be free and clear of manufacturing defects in workmanship and materials under normal use and service for a period of one (1) year from the date of the original purchase. If within one (1) year from the original date of purchase this product fails due to defect in material or workmanship, DK2 Inc. will repair, replace, or supply any covered defective part at our option. DK2 Inc. is 1-year parts only warranty no labor.
Upon expiry of one (1) year, DK2 Inc. will have no further liability related to the product. DK2 Inc. does not authorize any party, including its authorized distributors or dealers, to offer any other warranty on behalf of DK2 Inc.

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER OR APPLY TO:

• Damage to the product due to misuse, mishandling and abuse
• Improper installation, maintenance and storage
• Expendable parts such as nuts and bolts, pins and springs, wiring and switch components, hydraulic hoses and fittings, cutting teeth, cutting chains, cutting blades, throttles, belts and tires.
• Normal wear and tear
• Consequential damage & incidental damages such as damage to persons or property

PROCEDURE FOR WARRANTY
Within the one (1) year warranty period, the purchaser of the product can CALL 1-888-277-6960 or contact us on www. dk2.com. Notify us of the claimed defect and provide proof of original purchase. At this time the validity of the claim will be determined, and if approved replacement parts will be issued. No returned product will be accepted under warranty unless accompanied by an RGA# issued by DK2 Inc.

DAMAGED FREIGHT
Damage to your product caused by freight mishandling is NOT covered under warranty. If your freight arrives damaged, REFUSE it. Inspect your product when it arrives, otherwise if you accept it, you will be responsible for filing any freight claims with the delivery company. DK2 Inc. warranty excludes damage to product.

• DO NOT immerse the solar panel in water.
• DO NOT clean with water directly. Use a wet cloth to gently wipe the solar panel down.

• DO NOT expose to direct heat sources.
• DO NOT pierce the solar panel casing with any sharp object.
• DO NOT attempt to disassemble the solar panel in any way.
• DO NOT expose to strong corrosive substances.
• DO NOT charge a vehicle battery directly.
• DO NOT drop, knock, disassemble or attempt to repair the product by yourself.
• Avoid USB charge or use of the product in a moist area or wet conditions.
• If wet, DO NOT attampt to dry with any appliance or heat sources like hair dryer or microwave oven.
• Keep away from explosive or flammable conditions or substances.
• Keep away from children. Warranty does not cover wrong usage, human error or damage.
• Avoid direct contact with charging ports especially when USB charging.
• Power banks have internal control circuitry that regulate current. If damaged safety may be compromised.
• DO NOT use if damaged or if you notice any irregularity.
• Unplug your power bank as soon as it is fully charged.
• Ensure the operating environment meets the standard operating temperature range of -10°C ~ 65°C (14°F ~ 149°F).
• Keep product safe. As with mobile electronic products, do not abuse or use inappropriately.

• Q: What products will this solar panel charge?
  A: This solar panel will charge all DK2 batteries and power consoles, and most other brands of energy storage power supply.

• Q: What will cause the panel to charge slow?
  A: The output power of solar panels is affected by several factors. Main factors include climatic conditions, angle of light, and objects blocking light from reaching the panel.

  • WARNING! Please avoid squeezing and compressing the solar panel from external forces or heavy objects. This may damage the panel cells and cause the power to drop.

• Q: How to clean the solar panel?
  A: Dust and dirt on the surface should be removed using a soft cloth. Use a damp cloth to wipe the surface of the solar panel to remove any remaining dust or dirt.

  • CAUTION! Do not directly pour water on the solar panel. Make sure you use a damp cloth to wipe down the solar panel, pouring water directly on the solar panel may cause performance reduction.

• Q: Is the solar panel waterproof?
  A: To maximize the lifespan of the solar panel, it should not get wet.
