SNOWPLOW WINCH STRAP REPLACEMENT
*OLD STYLE WINCH
INSTALLATION
- Locate the hex screw on the winch spool 1
- Remove the screw using an allen key 2 and set aside. Do not lose the screw, as you will need it to reinstall your new winch strap.
- Use the tool that was provided in your plow kit 3 to begin removing the winch pin (you may be able to use needle nose pliers as well)
- Screw in the provided tool 3 and pull the pin 4 free from the winch. Once removed, you will be able to pull the strap away freely.|

You’ve now successfully removed your old winch strap. Now it’s time to take your new winch strap and reverse the steps above to complete your winch strap replacement.

NOTE: When re-installing the new winch strap, make sure the pin is inserted the correct way.
The hole in the pin 4 should always align with the hex screw 1 so that you can lock the winch pin in place.
