Product Usage Instructions
Placing the Soundbar
Place the Soundbar in front of the TV.
Connecting the Sound bar to TV
For TVs with ARC (Audio Return Channel) support, connect the Sound bar to
the TV using the included HDMI cable.
TV Connection:
- TV
- HDMI IN (ARC)
- HDMI OPTICAL IN OUT
Cable Connection:
- HDMI cable (included)
- Optical digital cable (included)
Connecting the power cords to AC outlet
Connect the included power cord to the Sound bar, and insert the plugs into
a household power outlet.
Power cord (included) Connect to household power outlet (AC 120 V, 60 Hz)
Using the Sound bar for TV sound
Turn on your TV.
Using the Sound bar for Bluetooth music streaming
Before streaming music from your Bluetooth device to the Sound bar, you
need to pair the Sound bar and your device:
- Press the (Bluetooth) button on the Sound bar (or remote control unit) until the Bluetooth LED blinks in blue. The Soundbar will enter pairing mode.
- Go to the Bluetooth settings on your device and ensure Bluetooth is turned ON.
- Select “DHT-S216” from the available devices.

instructions for setting up your Sound bar.

Set up
There are fi ve steps to the setup process.
- Placing the Sound bar
- Connecting the Sound bar to TV

Placing the Sound bar
Place the Sound bar in front of the TV.
- The Sound bar can also be mounted to a wall. Refer to the included wall mount template for details on how to mount.
- If you want to mount your Sound bar on a wall, refer to “When hanging the sound bar on a wall” in the Owner’s Manual or contact the store where you purchased it.
Connecting the Sound bar to TV
For TVs with ARC (Audio Return Channel) support, connect the Sound bar to the
TV with the included HDMI cable.
If the TV does not support ARC, connect it to the Sound bar using the included
HDMI cable and optical digital cable.
Connecting the power cords to AC outlet
Connect the included power supply cord to the Sound bar, and insert the plugs into an outlet.
Using the Sound bar for TV sound
Turn on your TV.
If you hear audio coming from TV’s internal speaker, make sure TV speaker off or min volume.
About the status display LEDs
The LEDs on the Sound bar indicate volume, input source, listening mode and other status information.
Using the Sound bar for Bluetooth music streaming
Before you can stream music from your Bluetooth device to the Sound bar, you must fi rst “pair” the Sound bar and your device.
- Press the (Bluetooth) button on the Sound bar (or remote control unit) until the Bluetooth LED blinks in blue. Sound bar will go into the pairing mode.
- Go to the Bluetooth settings on your device and make sure Bluetooth is turned ON.
- Select “DHT-S216”.
The Bluetooth LED turns blue to indicate that the Sound bar is being paired with your Bluetooth device.
