Safety Instructions

1. Please keep the drone parts out of children’s reach.
2. This drone is mighty. When using it for the first time, you should push the left control lever slowly to prevent the drone from rising too fast and causing unnecessary collisions and injuries. At this time, the fan blades will rotate, and the second push will make the drone rise.
3. When a flight is ended, please turn off the power switch of the remote control first and turn off the power switch of the drone.
4. Do not place the drone battery in high-temperature conditions or near flammable or explosive materials.
5. To ensure safety and prevent injury, please keep the aircraft at a distance from humans and animals.
6. This drone is suitable for people aged 14 and over, and it should be within the sight of the operator (coach) to ensure safe flight.
7. Do not charge the battery of the remote control if the battery is a non-rechargeable battery. The drone must be used with the original batteries.
8. If the drone will not be used long, please take the batteries out of the remote control unit.
9. Do not cause a short circuit during the charging.
10. If you do not use the drone for more than 10 days, please discharge the battery of the drone to 40-50% (light for a certain time). In this way, the life of the battery will be extended greatly.
11. Please keep a safe distance from the rotating propeller to prevent injury.
12. Please assemble the drone under the supervision of an adult.
13. Operators are responsible for their safe flight and safe distance. Do not hover and fly over the crowd (more than 12 people.

Know Your Drone

Operate the drone by remote control, connect the drone via WIFI, control the drone in APP mode, and have more ways to play.It should be noted that after the drone is connected to the remote controller, you can take photos, videos and view real-time images by connecting the drone to your mobile phone, but you cannot use the mobile app to fly the drone, and the two operation methods cannot be performed at the same time.

Drone

Description of drone
The aircraft has good controllability and stability, with the functions of real-time image transmission, information return, mobile phone control, photography and video, gesture recognition, rolling, obstacle avoidance mode, headless mode, and low power alarm etc.

Installing the Propellers

The drone comes with replaceable propellers if the originals are broken or badly damaged.

1. When installing for the first time, please carefully distinguish the propeller type.
2. Refer to Figure 3, insert the grooves of the propeller’s opener into the bottom of the propellers that needs to be replaced, and then press the handle of the opener to remove the propeller.
3. Refer to Figure 4, distinguish between type A and type B propellers, and press the propellers vertically to install them on the motor shaft. The mark can be found on the rotor. It is extremely important to use the correct propellers (A or B) for replacement. Using the incorrect propellers will make the drone out of to control.

Battery Charging Steps

The battery is a 3.7V lithium battery, please use a factory-configured USB cable to charge it.

• First using a drone to fly, please fully charge the battery.

• Rotate outward, Unlock the module battery
• Upward, Remove the battery

Charge way

1. USB connect computer charge
2. Connect socket charge Charging red light, full of lights off.

Remote control battery installation
Remove the battery cover, according to the correct polarity putting into the three AA batteries, battery installation direction as shown in the picture, close the cover and screw it. ( AA * 3PCS Remote control battery needs to be purchased separately.)

Preparing for Flight

Preparing inspection

Please inspect the following items before flying

1. Whether the drone and remote control are both with full battery power
2. Whether the propellers are installed correctly and without any damage
3. Whether the propellers can run normally when the product is started
4. Whether the drone completes automatic frequency alignment.
5. Whether successfully connect a smartphone and have a transmission image
6. Whether the environment suitable for frying

Notes: Please check drone arms are fully open.

Flight environment requirements

First Using

If you use a remote controller to control the drone, be sure to turn on the drone first and then the remote controller.

Calibration
When the remote control “Outer-Eight” is operated, there will be a sound of Di, and the aircraft indicator light will be on for a long time, which means that the gyroscope calibration is completed.

Note: the gyroscope needs to be calibrated every time the flight is restarted, and the aircraft needs to be placed horizontally on the ground.

One-button take-off and one-button landing
It is suggested that the height of this product is determined by the barometer. Due to the influence of various environmental temperatures and other different factors, it is normal for the aircraft to change at the beginning of flight or at low voltage.It must be operated after 2.4 G alignment is completed.

Advanced Flight Function

Speed adjustment

Press the speed switch button on the remote control to switch the flight speed of the aircraft. When switching to the medium speed gear, the remote control deliver two sounds of Di. When switching to the high gear, the remote control will deliver three sounds of Di. Each time the remote control and the aircraft are turned off and restarted, the aircraft gear will automatically return to the low gear.

Headless mode
Enter headless mode, the light will flash. When starting the headless mode, use the left throttle stick to push left or right to adjust the direction of the drone’s head. No matter which direction the drone’s head is facing, the drone will take the take-off point of the remote control as the center point. There is no need to go determine the direction of the drone’s head for control.

Camera adjustment
Press the “Camera Fine Tune Up” button to move the drone camera upwards Press the ‘Camera Fine Adjust Down’ button to move the drone camera downwards

Rolling
Press the roll button and then push the direction control lever to roll the aircraft in different directions.

Warning: roll function consumes a lot of power and should be reduced. More importantly, it is recommended to use it in an open space.

Photograph / Video
After turning on the aircraft, press the Photograph / Video button to take photos and record video.

Obstacle avoidance

After turning on the drone, press the obstacle avoidance mode button for 2-3 seconds. After the obstacle avoidance mode is activated, the light flashes. At this point, if the directional lever is in any direction, the obstacle avoidance head of the drone will automatically sense that direction. If there are obstacles in the direction, the drone will not be able to fly in that direction.

After starting your device, please check whether the hotpot called “M8 XX /HF_ XX/ WIFI-XX-***” connects or not, if not, please manually connect the hotspot, there is no password.

Palm Control Flight
Click the palm control button, then raise the palm vertically, aiming at the camera of the drone, the video will be automatically recognized by the palm, and when a red frame appears, the palm control mode is entered;

1. Facing the camera of the aircraft, one-handedly
2. When the palm is in the red box of the app, move the palm gently
3. At this point, the aircraft will follow the palm up and down

The optimal control for the distance between the palm and the camera is around 1.2 meters.

Gesture and Vision Mode
Click the gesture button, the system will automatically recognize different gestures to take pictures or videos. Gesture as below:

• Yeah shows taking pictures, one-handed flat. After the gesture is successfully recognized, then countdown 3, 2, 1, and begin to take pictures.
• Palm gesture shows video, the five fingers are separated by one hand; after the gesture is successfully recognized, the recording starts. End the recording when the gesture is recognized again
• Palm gesture video the five fingers are separated by one hand; after the gesture is success­fully recognized, the recording starts. End the recording when the gesture is recognized again

Click on the Entertainment Mode button and you will be taken to the following function:
