Pro and Room Models

NOTE: Read this manual and all-important safety instructions before using the unit.

Important Safety Information

  Do not operate this unit unless it is completely assembled.
Do not block the ventilation filter.
Do not directly view UV lights while in operation.
Unplug the unit before any cleaning or maintenance.
This unit is not intended for outdoor use.

Initial Setup

  • Remove your unit from the packaging. (Keep your bag and included materials)
  • Open the unit and take the filter out of the protective wrap and place the filter back into the unit before operation.
  • Install the Power Cord into the plug on the bottom of the unit, under the sliding panel.
  • Locate a suitable location to place your unit. (Ideal location is an area of the room with good circulation, away from the wall and your air return, or near the source of pollution)
  • Connect your unit to WiFi via Greentech Connect Mobile Application. (See Greentech Connect, Page 7)
  • Begin purification!

Controls

Greentech Connect

pureAir Active HEPA+ can be controlled with the unit’s control panel as well as with the mobile application, Greentech Connect.

  • Scan this QR Code to download from your app store.
  • Create your account.
  • Set your unit in WiFi discovery mode by holding the Power Button down until the WiFi symbol begins to blink.
  • In Greentech Connect, press the + button in the top right corner and add a new device. Your device should automatically show up while in discovery mode.
  • After your device has been added, select the unit and enter its control screen.
  • Make mode, fan, and lighting adjustments, or view the quality of your air, part life, and more.

Operation

Unit Power
Press the Power Button to turn the unit ON or OFF.
Fan Speed (Manual Mode)
Press the Fan Speed Button (FAN) to cycle through the 5 fan speeds (Low, Med- Low, Medium, Med-High, High).
Auto Mode
Press the Auto Mode Button (AUTO) to put the unit into Auto Mode. During Auto Mode, your unit will adjust fan speed based on the air quality while showing a notification of the current air quality level.

Air Quality – Displayed During Operation

  • Good (Green)
  • Fair (Yellow)
  • Poor (Red)

Night Mode – Dims all lights (Control Panel, Air Quality LED, PCO UV LEDs )
First, choose your preferred purification mode/fan speed. Press the Night Mode button to turn Night Mode ON. Press any button to “wake” the unit up before the set 8 hour Night Mode period ends.
Note: Night Mode time settings can be adjusted in the mobile app, Greentech Connect.

Information
Pressing the information button will cycle through the real-time unit and room information. The actively displayed information will be highlighted in the Component Status or Active Display Information sections on the control panel. This information is also available in the GreenTech Connect Mobile App.

  • Temperature – Current Room Temperature
  • Humidity – Current Room Humidity
  • Filter Life – % Remaining
  • PCO Cell Life – % Remaining
  • BPI Module Life – % Remaining

Cleaning & Maintenance

WARNING: UNPLUG THE UNIT BEFORE CLEANING OR MAINTENANCE

Cleaning

For proper operation, the unit should be cleaned once a month.

  • Unit Exterior – Wipe down with a damp cloth
  • Pre Filter – Vacuum
  • Unit Interior – Remove the top of the unit to remove the filter, wipe the interior of the unit with a damp cloth or vacuum and then return the filter and replace the top of the unit Replace the filter (Annually or Biannually)
  • Air Quality Sensor – Spray with compressed air and/or wipe with an alcohol swab

Maintenance

If your unit has stopped working properly, refer to your Warranty Information for coverage and replacement instructions.
HEPA Filter Life
Filter life is determined by operating time but is affected by the level of pollutants in the space being cleaned. Filters should be replaced at least once a year to ensure the highest quality purification, or more frequently in locations with higher levels of pollutants.
PCO Cell and BPI Module Life
The PCO Cell and BPI Module life are determined by operating time and should be replaced once a year to ensure the highest quality purification.
Temperature Unit Adjustment (°F/°C)
Easily switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius within the Greentech Connect Mobile App by selecting the temperature section on the control screen.

Part Replacement – HEPA Filter with ODOGard® Coating
Additional Filters, PCO Cells, and BPI Modules can be purchased through Greentech Environmental or a Greentech Environmental retailer.

  1. Remove the top.
  2. Remove filter.
  3. Replace with a new filter.
  4. Replace top.

Reset the Filter Life by navigating the information menu to the Filter Life screen and holding the information button until the life remaining changes to 100%.

Note: To reset the Filter Life using Greentech Connect, navigate to the unit control screen, select the Filter section and reset the life remaining.

Part Replacement – PCO Cell

  1. Remove the top.

  2. Pull the PCO Cell straight up to remove it from the internal post.

  3. Replace with the new cell by aligning the keys on the cell and post then slide it down until fully seated.

  4. Replace the top.

  5. Reset the PCO Cell Life by navigating the information menu on the control panel to the PCO Cell Life screen and holding the information button until the life remaining changes to 100%.
    Note: To reset the PCO Cell life using Greentech Connect, navigate to the unit control screen, select the PCO Cell section and reset the life remaining.

Part Replacement – BPI Module Brushes

  1. Remove the two screws located on the inner/top edge of the rear handle.

  2. Remove the handle cover.

  3. Remove the two BPI Brush Plugs by grabbing and lifting them up and out

  4. Replace them with the new BPI Brush Plugs by inserting them into their color-coordinated outlets until they are fully seated.

  5. Replace the handle cover and screws.

  6. Reset the BPI Module Life by navigating the information menu to the BPI Module screen and holding the information button until the life remaining changes to 100%.

Note: To reset the BPI Module Life using Greentech Connect, navigate to the unit control screen, select the PCO Cell section and reset the life remaining.

Warranty Information

Your pureAir Active HEPA+ is warranted to be free from all defects in material and workmanship in normal household use for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. The warranty is granted only to the original purchaser and members of his or her immediate household. The warranty is subject to the following provisions: Any damages or malfunctions caused by negligence, abuse, or use not in accordance with the Owner’s Manual are not covered by this warranty. Likewise, any defects or damages caused by unauthorized service are not covered. Greentech Environmental will, at its option, repair or replace a defective Air Purifier that is covered by this Warranty. As a matter of warranty policy, Greentech will not refund the customer’s purchase price. To obtain warranty service you must return the defective Air Purifier along with proof of purchase to the pureAir Authorized Warranty Station. All transportation charges on parts, or units, submitted under this Warranty shall be borne by the purchaser. Unless this Warranty is expressly renewed or extended by Greentech Environmental, any repaired or replaced part of the unit shall be warranted to the original purchaser only for the length of the unexpired portion of the original warranty.

Further Limitations and Exclusions Are as Follows:
Any warranty that may be implied in connection with your purchase or use of the Air Purifier, including any warranty of merchantability or any warranty for Fitness For A Particular Purpose is limited to the duration of this warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

Your relief for the breach of this warranty is limited to the relief expressly provided above. In no event shall Greentech be liable for any consequential or incidental damages you may incur in connection with your purchase or use of the Air Purifier. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Please register your new pureAir Active HEPA+ product within 10 days of purchase by visiting greentechenv.com/warranty or scanning the QR code to take you to the site.

FCC Statement

This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions:

  1. this device may not cause harmful interference, and
  2. this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

Warning: Any Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.

Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation.

This equipment generates uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. FCC Radio Frequency Exposure Statement

The antenna(s) used for this transmitter must be installed to provide a separation distance of at least 20 cm from all persons and must not be collocated or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter, End-Users must be provided with transmitter operation conditions for satisfying RF exposure compliance.
