Product Information
This is a Quick Setup Guide for the Wi-Fi IP Camera. The camera offers flexible setup options and can be used as a standalone camera or connected to a Night Owl Recorder.

Product Usage Instructions
Option 1: Standalone Camera – Connecting to your Wi-Fi Network
- Download the Night Owl Protect App if you are a first-time user. Create an account and log in with your username and password.
- If you already have an account, log in with your username and password.
- In the app, tap on “Add New” or “+” to start the setup process. The app will guide you through the steps.
Option 2: Add on Camera – Connecting to your Night Owl Recorder
IMPORTANT:
To add a Wi-Fi IP camera to your wired recorder, both devices must be
connected to the same Internet (Local Area Network).
- Ensure your wired recorder has been added to your Night Owl Protect account.
- Power on your new Wi-Fi IP camera using the provided power adapter.
- Log in to the Night Owl Protect App from your Smart Device.
- In the app, tap on “Add New” or “+” and follow the on-screen steps.
Option 2a: Setup with Night Owl Protect App
- Power on your new Wi-Fi IP camera using the provided power adapter.
- Log in to the Night Owl Protect App from your Smart Device.
- Tap on your existing Wi-Fi recorder.
- Tap on “Add New” or “+” to add your new Wi-Fi IP camera.
- Follow the on-screen steps to pair your new Wi-Fi IP camera.
NOTE:
The camera can also be set up without the app by logging into your Wi-Fi
recorder. Refer to the QR Code for more information on compatibility and
detailed setup steps for both methods.
Option 2b: Setup without the App
NOTE:
Product images may vary slightly based on your model, but the setup steps will
be the same.
