Product Usage Instructions
Quick Setup Guide
Congratulations on your new purchase! This quick setup guide will show you
how to quickly set up your system for local and remote surveillance. For
complete instructions and detailed manuals, please check the CD included in
the package.
System Login
To log in to your DVR:
- Power up your DVR.
- Use the default user name “admin” and leave the password field blank.
- Wait a few seconds, and you will see four channels of live video.
Note: For security purposes, if the password is input wrongly three times, the alarm will start. If it is input wrongly five times, the account will be locked. The account will be automatically unlocked after a reboot or half an hour. Please change the password after the first login.
Mobile Viewing (Take iPhone/iPad for example)
To connect your system:
- Link up the cameras and RJ45 connectors with the 15M & 25M video cables.
- Connect your power adapter with the power cable.
- Plug the adapter into your power source.
- Wire the NVR box with your monitor using a VGA/HDMI cable (not included).
- Connect the NVR box with your Router/AP using a network cable (not included).
To configure the DVR and install the mobile app:
- Go to [Main Menu] – [System] – [Network] and enable DHCP.
- Go to [Main Menu] – [info] – [version] – [NAT Status] and ensure it is CONNECTED.
- Install the XMeye app from the Apple Store to your cell phone.
- Run the XMeye app and choose [Manually add].
- Enter the P2P account (search for P2P account in Main Menu – INFO – Version – SerialNo).
Note: The OK button on your mobile does not require a password. Tap on
the device to view.
After adding the device, you will see a preview image. Choose the channel you
want to view.

What should I do if I forget the admin password?

Step 1. DVR configuration: go to [Main Menu] – [System] – [Network], enable DHCP

Step 2. Go to [Main Menu] – [info] – [version] – [NAT Status], make sure it is CONNECTED

Step 3. Install mobile app to your cell phone, the app”XMeye” can be downloaded from Apple Store

Step 4. Run the app “XMeye” through“+”(See pic 1) -chooose [Manually add]-
Please enter the P2P account.
Note: The way to search P2P account:Main Menu–INFO–Version–SerialNo -
Step 5: Tab on the “OK” button on your mobile, no password needed. Further tab on the device to view. See pic 2.
After adding the device, you will see Pic 3, choose the channel you want to view, and the preview image will be displayed
