FEATURES
ALL NEW 90° X 90° TRACTRIX HORN
Our exclusive Tractrix® horn technology delivers the power, detail and
emotion of the live music experience with the cleanest, most natural sound
possible. The increased outer horn dimensions allow for directivity control
over a larger bandwidth of frequencies, resulting in improved high frequency
directivity and a more accurate sound stage.
LINEAR TRAVEL SUSPENSION (LTS) ALUMINUM TWEETER WITH KAPTON SUSPENSION
The exclusive Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) minimizes distortion for
enhanced, detailed performances. Aluminum is an extremely light and rigid
material used in the tweeter assembly to provide high efficiency and improve
resolution and detail. LTS tweeters are a hallmark of Klipsch speakers, making
it a core component of some of the best speakers in the world.
SPUN-COPPER THERMOFORMED CRYSTALLINE POLYMER (TCP) WOOFERS
Utilizing trickle-down technology from Klipsch’s highly acclaimed Reference
Premiere series, the TCP woofers have steeper angling of the cones for a
smoother response and improved accuracy and transparency. The additional
ribbing increases the overall rigidity for less cone breakup at higher
frequencies.
SLEEK, MODERN APPEARANCE
Hidden fasteners, edge-to-edge horn, and low-profile magnetic grilles give the speakers a polished, modern appearance.

FAQs
What is the purpose of a Klipsch R-50C centre speaker?****
A home theatre system’s centre channel speaker is essential since it reproduces around 70% of the dialogue from movies and television shows. You are missing out on important details from what you are watching if you don’t have one.
Can a single Klipsch R-50C centre channel speaker be used?****
In actuality, the centre channel speaker delivers terrific audio on its own and operates superbly.
Is it possible to position the Klipsch R-50C centre speaker behind the TV?****
The centre speaker should often be placed directly beneath the TV. To accurately reproduce TV sound, place this at or near ear level. If you can’t put it there, the area just over the TV is a close second. The TV should always be easily accessible.
Why do my Klipsch R-50C speakers have two inputs?****
Dual-input terminals are provided by manufacturers so that consumers can bi- wire their home theatre systems, enhancing audio quality and enlarging the auditorium. One dedicated wire must be run from the amplifier to each speaker in many home theatre configurations.
What characteristics ought to the Klipsch R-50C centre speaker have?****
Always look for centre channel speakers with a “three-way design” and a tweeter and midrange that are vertically aligned. It can therefore provide a wider soundstage, perform more closely to a full-range speaker, and properly track the acoustic image over the front stage.
Is the Klipsch R-50C centre speaker appropriate for music playback?****
In a home theatre, the centre channel is ideal for conversation but not for music.
Is a larger Klipsch R-50C centre speaker better?****
Despite the fact that a larger centre will produce more sound at lower frequencies, it won’t typically be necessary in your circumstance. The ideal speaker configuration would have three identical speakers placed across the front, which would result in a better centre speaker and higher sound quality.
Can I use the Klipsch R-50C centre channel speaker as a soundbar?****
No, using a soundbar in place of the centre speaker will result in poorer audio quality. These two speakers actually differ substantially from one another despite their apparent similarity.
Where should a Klipsch R-50C centre channel speaker be mounted?****
Whether in front of or behind the screen, always position the centre channel speaker as close as you can to the image. Place the speaker flush with the front edge of any furniture to prevent sound lobing, which can reduce dynamics and clarity.
Can the Klipsch R-50C speaker be placed in the centre of the floor?****
You can, but it won’t sound good if you mean literally on the ground. In use, it’ll probably sound awful. Yes, if by “lower shelf” you mean the bottom shelf. The placement will probably need to be changed to make sure that it is pointing precisely up into the listening area.
How high should I position my Klipsch R-50C centre speaker?****
First, make an effort to position your centre speaker as near to ear level as possible. The centre channel speaker is frequently positioned above or below your flat-panel TV.
Is centering the Klipsch R-50C centre speaker necessary?****
Instead of being offset from the display, the centre channel speaker should be CENTERED above or below it. It is advisable to utilise NO centre channel speaker if the centre channel speaker cannot be centred on the display.
Which size—smaller or larger—should I choose for my Klipsch R-50C centre speaker?****
For timbre matching purposes, your Center channel should typically be set to the same size as your Front L/R speakers. Of course, you should set it to “Small” if your centre channel speaker is unable to handle the full range. In a surround sound arrangement, keep in mind that the centre channel produces dialogue.
Is it possible to place the Klipsch R-50C centre speaker above the TV?****
Theoretically, you very certainly can. There is not a single issue with doing that. When a television is generally fixed on a wall bracket, it might be possible to install the centre channel by using a cabinet, a shelf, or another object that is placed above the TV.
Is the loudness of the Klipsch R-50C Center speaker too low?****
No, the middle shouldn’t be louder than the fronts when tuned properly. The centre is not louder due to the setup’s numbers (or not as loud). These modifications can be used to account for variations in speaker model loudness.
