Product Information
The SMG 11 D Mini-Massager is a compact and portable massaging device designed

WARNING
Use of the massage device is prohibited in the following cases:
- On children.
- Not with changes caused by disease or injury in the back region (e.g. burns, open wounds, scars, skin rashes or other injuries).
- Not in case of cardiovascular diseases and headaches.
- Not on the head, bones (e.g. joints, spine) or other sensitive parts of the body.
- Not after operations.
- The massage device must not be used during pregnancy.
- Never use the device after taking medication or consuming alcohol (reduced levels of awareness).
- Do not use the device while operating machinery.
- For external use.
This device is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
restricted physical,sensory or mental capabilities and/or by persons lacking
the required understanding of the equipment and how it is used, unless they
are supervised by a person who is responsible for their safety or they are
given instructions on how to use the device. Children should be supervised to
ensure that they do not use the device as a toy.
Use of the device does not replace medical consultation and treatment. You
should consult your doctor before using the massage device if:
- you are fitted with a cardiac pacemaker, implant or other aid,
- in case of pains of unclarified origin,
- if you are not certain whether the device is suitable for you.
Note
The massage must be pleasant and relaxing at all times. Stop the massage or
change your position or the contact pressure if you find it is painful or
unpleasant.
Safety information
WARNING
- Before use, make sure that the device and accessories do not show any visible signs of damage. If you are in any doubt, do not use it and contact your dealer or a specified customer service address.
- Do not use any attachments that are not recommended or offered as accessories by the manufacturer.
- Never open or repair the instrument, otherwise perfect functioning is not guaranteed. If these instructions are not heeded, the warranty becomes null and void. In the event of repairs, please contact customer service or an authorized dealer.
Operation
Inserting or replacing batteries
- Twist off the battery compartment lid counter-clockwise.
- Insert three alkali or normal AAA batteries according to the marking in the battery compartment. Always ensure the correct battery polarity!
- Place the battery compartment lid on the battery compartment. Always ensure the correct orientation of the lid.
Notes on handling batteries
- If your skin or eyes come into contact with battery fluid, flush out the affected areas with water and seek medical assistance.
- Choking hazard! Small children may swallow and choke on batteries. Store the batteries out of the reach of small children.
- Observe the plus (+) and minus (-) polarity signs.
- If a battery has leaked, put on protective gloves and clean the battery com-partment with a dry cloth.
- Protect the batteries from excessive heat.
- Risk of explosion! Never throw batteries into a fire.
- Do not charge or short-circuit batteries.
- If the device is not to be used for a long period, take the batteries out of the battery compartment.
- Use identical or equivalent battery types only.
- Always replace all batteries at the same time.
- Do not use rechargeable batteries.
- Do not disassemble, split or crush the batteries.
Cleaning and care of the unit
You massager is maintenance-free. Only the outer housing needs to be cleaned regularly. Remove the batteries from the battery compartment for cleaning. Clean your Mini Massager carefully using only a slightly moistened cloth.
- Do not use any detergents or solvents.
- Never hold the instrument under water as otherwise liquid can penetrate and damage the device.
Disposing of the batteries
- The empty, completely flat batteries must be disposed of through specially designated collection boxes, recycling points or electronics retailers. You are legally required to dispose of the batteries.
- The codes below are printed on batteries containing harmful substances:
- Pb = Battery contains lead,
- Cd = Battery contains cadmium,
- Hg = Battery contains mercury.
General Disposal
- For environmental reasons, do not dispose of the device in the household waste at the end of its useful life.
- Dispose of the unit at a suitable local collection or recycling point. Dispose of the device in accordance with EC Directive – WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). If you have any ques- tions, please contact the local authorities responsible for waste disposal.
